I had a great experience at Set. and gathered many new taste memories. The chef and his wife are influenced by Nordic cuisine, incorporating many fermentation techniques, and using skilled cooking methods to combine Taiwanese ingredients to create new modern dishes.

I went to Set for my Christmas Eve Dinner and I do not regret any second of it. This was my first year celebrating Christmas away from close friends and family, and just enjoying a new culture, and Set made me feel at home for this special night. Staff were super friendly and attentive, the food was incredible, all the plates were delicious and meticulously planned detail by detail, the chef came personally to explain each plate and to make sure we were enjoying our experience.

Personally I am lactose intolerant, which I didn’t informed previously to the restaurant (my bad), the chef was super attentive and willing to change one of the plates last minute to make sure I was fine. He and the staff went above and beyond to warrantee an unforgettable night, and they surely made it.

I definitely loved it and Set will be, from now on, my must to visit in Taipei.
