The waitress has an attitude problem.  We reserved for 13... They refused to bring us the 13th chair saying no space... Even after we made space.  Then she wont let me order small for dishes although only 2 of us will eat it.  Then when we order the pumpkin rice noodle just cuz that was a popular dish
... Again she insist we order 3... I end up getting 1...and we didn't finish.  It was not good.  Only the chicken and fish was good this meal.  Will not go back with the attitude

This is one of the legendary restaurants that has operated since 1971.
It is pretty hard to communicate with them using english language. The menu is not in English, so I need google translate 😂

I like the taste of the chicken. It's kind of unique taste for me, not those steam chicken that I ever ate.

The cuttle fish is soft and tender,which is  quite surprising for me. It looks like it is tough.

The steam fish is their star here, for me the taste just so so, nothing special about it.

The vege with those small little nuts is also a new dish for me. Taste ok.

Other dishes like the oysters steam or fried  are just so so.

Will be back if I  have a chance

My Taiwanese cuisine all time favourite. Come here almost every time when I’m in Taipei.  Food is delicious and not as oily as other place.  Lunch is easier to get a table.  Better book in advance for dinner.

Excellent local Taiwanese food.  Have not eaten here for 3 years due to COVID restrictions. Once in Taipei, we dine in this restaurant every week.
Just love the fish, chicken, squid balls, oysters etc etc.
Highly recommended.
