An absolutely amazing experience! We were interested in trying out an authentic cooking class in Chiang Mai and Thai Farm Cooking School did not disappoint. After picking us up at our accommodation, we drove to a local market where we learned some things about different ingredients and curry’s in the thai cuisine. After that, we drove to the location of the cooking school, got a tour through the garden and started cooking different meals that we selected in advance. Our teacher was amazing! She told us everything we needed to know and overlooked each and every one the whole time. The result was amazing! I was surprised on how good it all tasted and want to try it out as soon as I am back in germany. The experience (half day evening class) was absolutely worth it and I would recommend this cooking school to everyone.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful experience. We joined a group morning class and the time flew by because it was so fun. We liked seeing a local market that had cheap produce and traditional cooking ingredients. Then, we got a tour of the farm, where we saw various herbs and vegetables growing. During the cooking class, my husband and I each had our own cooking stations (which we shared with our kids), and we each got to choose which dishes we wanted to make. Our older kids (aged 9 and 7) were able to do most of the steps, while my husband and I supervised. The cooking instructor was friendly, funny and gave clear instructions in English. She was also very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She even helped to hold our baby during the stir fry portion of the class. We were very full from all the food, and the staff kindly packed up some leftover rice and curry that we were too full to eat. We felt the class was of great value - there is currently a low season rate of 1000 baht for adults and 500 baht for our older 2 kids. The whole day was well organized, with ample time to make and enjoy 4 dishes (as well as make our own curry paste from scratch). It was a joy to cook, assemble, and plate dishes, without having to do all the cleaning and prep work. I highly recommend this cooking class as a family-friendly activity.

Excellent experience! Fantastic host who gave clear instructions, answered questions and led an engaging day of cooking. We started the experience with efficient pick up service from our hotel, continued on a tailored market tour considerate of our vegan lifestyle :) the quantity and quality of recipes being taught exceeded our expectations! We are very grateful for the cookbook as it was a lot of information to take in. We cannot wait to go home and make these dishes for our friends and family!

We had a wonderful half day visit to Thai farm cooking school. We had the pleasure of having Wass as our guide and instructor. She was very informative and we learned a lot about all the different ingredients in Thai cuisine. We also went on a walk to see their organic garden. Highly recommendable!
