On my first visit here I tried the Barramundi fillet of fish and chips with some trepidation - being British, and from a family who run chip shops at home, I really love fish and chips and was a bit worried about it being terrible... But it was absolutely delicious!

Chips were great (not those dreadful soggy ones you often get in Thailand), and the 2 fillets of fish were in a lovely, light, crunchy batter that was almost penko breadcrumb style. The home made tartar sauce was also delicious!

I went back and had it again several times during the month I was staying in the area, and it was always delicious. Plenty of other things on the menu, both Western and Thai, but I never got around to trying them as the fish was too good to resist....

The upstairs seating area is lovely, very atmospheric in the evening, and the staff were always very helpful and friendly, with quick service.

I have been to Thailand for at least 500-600 times over the last 28 years, but only my 2md time in Phuket (mostly Bangkok). And I dare to speak up that this is one of the best in Thailand.

Why did I rate it so high?

For two people: small quaint place worth the drive to.

(+) Delicious! portions were large, quality ingredients, seafood was fresh, coconuts were sweet.
Service and staff were great! They cared to ask about the food quality. For the Swedish couple beside who found the food a bit to spicy, staff offer sugar and more coconut milk. For us who found it rather mild, she offered us chili flakes and the lot.
There was nothing to not like about this place, you get what you pay for, would definitely come back.

This is a place to be if you want to try real Thai food. Delicious food, freshly made, very affordable prices. Staff is super friendly❤️ Nice terrace with lot of green and cosy atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Definitely go here if you want great quality, delicious Thai food in very generous portions! It feels like they really care about this place and the food, the staff are friendly, the location and venue is great and the food is outstanding. Came here on our last night before leaving which is a shame as would definitely have eaten here multiple times if we’d found it sooner!
