Heard about this place for a while and decided to give it a try. Wasn’t impressed that they served our welcome drinks at a table in Lord Jim’s during staff training in there that went on quite loudly. Then we got to the restaurant where the atmosphere was much better. Kaiseki dinner and sake were great. High quality ingredients and all the dishes were so tasty and complex. The head chef can speak English fluently and very friendly.

Great dining experience at Mandarin Oriental Kinu by Takagi.

It's a 10 course omakase menu. We paired  6 types of perfectly selected Sake to complement our meal.

Chef was friendly and every dish was prepared with lot of passion and love.

3 different types of Caviar was served. Every  dish was well presented and delicious.

5 ⭐️ meal. Very delicate dishes with many ingredients/elements involved.
But the lunch course is quite small compare to the price.
The restaurant is quite small with total 10 seats.  And the restaurant serve everyone promptly at noon. So if you are not friends having lunch together, the air can be quite intense.
