I was considering whether to give it four or three stars, but ultimately decided on three because I don’t believe it met the standards of a Michelin-level restaurant. While the food wasn’t bad, my expectations were higher when visiting a Michelin-rated establishment.

The appetizers were decent; the watermelon tartare was an interesting dish, and the prawns were good. The main courses were acceptable as well, but there wasn’t anything that surprised or impressed me.

The desserts, however, were incredible and the highlight of the meal. The Thai wine was also enjoyable and worth trying.

One downside was the atmosphere in the restaurant, which felt too quiet. On a positive note, the service was very good.

I went there as first destination in bangkok, a little bit disappointed with the beverage. As the foam on top was too much and without latte art. After changing a new one the foam not smooth at all, you could see all the bubble on top. The appetizers and desserts are amazing from the presentation to the taste. However the main of the red label chicken should be juicy instead of dry.Other than that,their service is superB.

Honestly speaking, this is one of the worst fine dining I’ve ever had. I don’t even understand how can they be Michelin starred.

Environment : Dated & nostalgic. Brings you back to the 90’s.

Service : Good in a way but you can tell there was no sincerity.

Food : From the first course I already knew there’s something wrong. Even the bread was bad. And I was right, none of the dish were good until the end even with the dessert. It’s just not up to standard. Worst part is, I got serious diarrhea few hours after and I ran toilet for 6 times. My friend said my face turned pale. I was the only one who got it because I had their lamb course which they said was braised for many hours, so I’m sure it wasn’t braised that day itself which make sense. But how many days it was kept in fridge that’s another question….

Price : Ended up around TB3,500 per person I’m not mistaken. Is it worth it? No. I should’ve pay that amount to dine in Blue by Alain Ducasse and I can guarantee their food, service & environment is easily 10 x times better.

In conclusion, I really don’t get how they are rated 4.6 on google review. Those who rated it 5-stars I suggest you try more fine dining out there. I hope this honest feedback helps you a little else your trip might be crewed like mine.

I recently tried out J’AIME for their signature French course dinner, and I have to admit, I felt a bit nervous initially because It was my first time experiencing such a luxurious dinner, and I wasn’t sure what to expect

But wow, it was totally worth it! The food was incredible. Each course was fantastically crafted, The tiger prawn appetizer was especially delicious.

The dessert was another standout. The chefs clearly have a trick for balancing flavors. It wasn’t overly sweet, but it was a perfect blend with right balance.

The staff was super attentive and worked really hard to make sure we had a great time. They were on top of everything, like it was their first day and they wanted to impress.

Overall, I had an amazing time and I’m really thankful to the staff for their awesome service. Definitely giving J’AIME BANGKOK a big 5 stars.

A truly deserving one Michelin Star restaurant, testament to the decor, food and service that I personally experienced on my actual birthday celebration. Ordered the Memoir course with wine pairing which was so tastefully curated, from the appetizers to the desserts.

The amuse-bouche was a good kick-starter to the course. They have a good selection of bread as well before you go into the appetizers. Each course was like a beautiful art on a plate. My personal favourites were the lamb shoulders. They were so soft and tender, it literally melts in your mouth. The other fish was cooked perfectly as well. Served with prawn head sauce, it really brings the ocean flavour to the dish. The meal ended with a very nice dessert and a complimentary birthday cake.

We were so full at the end of the meal, we have to take home the petit four. Overall, it was a taste journey from the start to the end. I would highly recommend this to any visitors to Bangkok.
