I’m slightly surprised by the Michelin guide's consistent recognition. The food is good, and the menu is pleasantly short and straightforward. But I doubt that everything is freshly made in the restaurant. The sausages, for one, are packaged, and the toasted bread does not convince me. However, it is possibly the cheapest and still decent meal I ever had. Is this enough to cut it for a Bib Gourmand? Overall, it was a pleasurable meal, nothing more.

Surprised it’s a Michelin listed restaurant for so many consecutive years! Tried the roti and the breakfast set. Roti is crispy so thumbs up for that. Should have order the curry to try but we were too full. I rec to order the curry, seems like a popular dish. Overall, not bad. But the environment can be very hot and humid. 🫠

Had surprisingly cheap and quickly prepared tasty brunch being attacked cute sparrows. (joking)
An owner look old guy dealt with countless orders at the same time one after another with his professional technique based on long time experience. It seemed that an apprentice learned how to cook on the job training to take over the main chef’s role. I saw a generation shift.

Is this all it takes to make the Michelin Bib Gourmand cut?  The beef massaman curry was really good, the other curries were underwhelming.  The roti is crispy but lacks other textures (fluffiness and chewyness).  I didn't feel like it was particularly cheap too.
