You just HAVE to see this beautiful gem! Highly recommend for any tourist. This please is filled with the kindest people and so so very beautiful to see. You can take photos inside and it’s extremely well kept. This was our favorite thing about visiting Istanbul!!! Super pretty all lit up at night time too! Gosh we could have just stayed and gazed at this place for hours! Completely stunning!

I visited here as part of my itinerary in Istanbul. For me this was one of the best Mosques to visit. It's worth checking prayer times for access. It's free to enter as a visitor. You need to adhere to the rules. There is a specific entrance at the side for visitors. Shoes off. And a specific area for you to view / pray whilst respecting the local population. It was free to enter and the area is worth walking around to admire the architecture. Access is viable for most of you have limited mobility. There are some steps and areas you will need assistance in navigating..
This is for me a must visit if you are visiting Instanbul even if you don't go inside.

An absolute MUST. It is breathtaking, majestic and awe inspiring. We found it more stunning and a better visit and access than Hagia Sophia! The colours and art is just something to behold! Ladies remember your headscarf and everyone covered chest, elbows and knees. Entrance is free.

The entire mosque is beautiful, interior is beautiful just take just for a quick photo op then leave. It's a grand central hall the ceiling is phenomenal. The waiting took longer than being on the property. So glad I didn't go with her on this. Fyi it's free

Such a beautiful mosque! If you're a tourist, make sure to plan your visit between prayer times, as the inside is closed for prayers. If you want to see the inside during prayer times, wear the proper dress code (women need to cover their hair) and let them know you wish to pray as well—they will allow you in.
