We really loved a whole atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant, prices are little bit higher than other restaurants. The staff were super friendly and polite.

An elegant meal and a wonderful dinner to end our trip
We made reservations beforehand and I was scared because it was a little empty when we came but it filled up quickly
The service is impeccable
It is expensive, I think with drinks and appetizers for 7, the total came out to about $400, so our most expensive meal of the trip
Everything was cooked perfectly
I was a little sad they didn’t have lobster pasta but I got the prawn pasta instead
The prawn pasta is heavy, very creamy and dense, honestly could split with two people
Friend got fish, really really good
Husband got lamb shank and it was also excellent
Loved everything we got

Excellent experience for food and service. I am not really a patient person, but the service we had here was the fastest and most friendly we ever had

I think that may have been up there with one of my best restaurant experiences in any country. The service was outstanding, Orhan lit a fire for me even though I was the only person there. I had the seafood pasta and popcorn prawns, both were really good. Level of service is definitely worth the visit. That table and chair you see, he brought so I can sit closer, should I want to.

One of the 2 Michelin selected restaurants in Alaçati, Sota disappoints more than it convinces.
And it’s not from lacking wonderful fresh ingredients - that it has.

What it lacks is proper chef training matching the ambition.

The starter: shrimps on guacamole was nice, but lacked acidity, spiciness - some sort of contrast.

Interestingly the local artichoke dish was beautiful.

The main course: lobster spaghetti, was lobster on tasteless tomato sauce over -cooked spaghetti - served with black hairdresser gloves on the side (for the client to put on while breaking down the beast).
When it comes to style, I can hardly think of a bigger no go!
It doesn’t matter that the Turkish customer knows lobster with plain tomato spaghetti as side dish. If you have the  ambition to run a gastronomic table, learn how to do proper lobster spaghetti and educate your customer. Including on how to eat lobster without silicon gloves. I am sure that when they taste the proper lobster spaghetti, they won’t complain. Pro tip: Italians know how to do it ;)
Or use and evolve local recipes.

To compensate for it, the manager did offer another dish, which was nice and appreciated, hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, for lack of table napkins, it would have been a 3.
