I stumbled on this restaurant looking for a New Year meal and it was a very nice surprise. I chose the Stylish menu and the dishes featuring Vietnamese ingredients. It really struck me how fresh, yet familiar, the flavours felt. There was one off-menu item: the black bread and white sauce featuring bacon,  manchego cheese, truffles and others if I can remember a few of the ingredients... That was also wipe the bowl clean delicious so the chef really knows how to use Asian and western flavours well. The service level is of a very high calibre and I didn't have to wait long between courses. I'm really glad there are Vietnamese chefs taking the cuisine to new directions, it can only get better from here!

I’d been curious about this restaurant for a long time, until today I finally had chance to try it. The staffs welcomed and guide me to the table with my name tag on it. I chose tasting menu which inspired by the color palette, with 9 dishes based on 9 colors.

Every dish was well presented and took me from one surprise to another. They were all different but connected to each other in some ways.
I especially love the brown, yellow, and orange ones. Tonight, I were given an off menu dish (B&W) which look very simple but absolutely amazing.
I did enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant, the service there. The staffs were very friendly, caring; they explained every dishes clearly and also gave a suggestion on how to enjoy it.
I sat at the counter and had chance to have some chit chat with the chef. By that, I knew how much thought he had put into this menu and appreciated it more.
At the end of the meal, they also gave me a small jar of jam as a gift. How lovely they are.

I think that this menu is not for every one because the price is on the high-end side and needs to have some dining experience to enjoy it to the fullest. For me, I love every aspects of it and already start saving money for their next menu.

An outstanding dinner experience here at The Monkey Gallery! Our host Tommy was awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. He was perfectly fluent in English which helped me understand the menu. The Magical Ticket menu had some interesting dishes and the overall flavour and texture journey was exquisite. We were fortunate to get an extra dish (black and white) that was lights out! They close the meal with a small gift of homemade jam. A classy touch. The atmosphere is great as well. Highly recommend The Monkey Gallery (Dining)!

Stopped by for dessert and were blown away by the creative and delicious desserts on offer, paired with stunning cocktails. The palette cleanser to start was also a lovely touch and very tasty. The glowing red mocktail was great theatre. Couldn’t fault it. Not cheap but definitely worth it!!! Thanks Richard for helping me decide which dessert to have. We chose well!
