Highly recommended when in Melbourne!
A sophisticated and calm atmosphere with a feeling of fine dining.
The cuisine was absolutely out of this world, didn’t take photos of all the dishes but the craftsmanship, the flavours and food produce and the cocktails were really delicious, also made to any one you’d prefer.
It was definitely a night to remember.

It was a fantastic experience at Nobu and we cannot wait to return in the near future.

A nice restaurant with very fresh and yum food. Expensive but you should be aware of this before you go, worth trying once. They knew we were celebrating someone's engagement and they prepared a free dessert for her.

“Overwhelmingly Over-Rated”

This is the headline that I’d give if I were to write a review in the national papers.

My family and I were pretty excited to try this place - our first visit to Nobu. However we left feeling more than just disappointed, perhaps more let down than anything else.

The food selection was underwhelming, and the taste was really not up to par. In fact, the food quality is below a lot of the mom and pop Japanese cafes in town. Quality is there but taste is not.

Prices are on the high side, as expected, so no complaints.

Ambience is on the low end of the scale too - the bottom level dining area is a tad too dark, making it difficult to read the menu and for families to enjoy themselves.

Overall experience is not there.

A nice place to have lunch. The food was definitely on the pricy side. The food was nice nothing special. I wouldn't call it fine dining. It is a typical Asian restaurant. The tables are really small. It is a place to share food so you need to order multiple dishes. It is hard to keep all the food on the table. You keep constantly nocking on the dishes.They should consider using smaller dishes to serve food in narrow dishes rather than wide space occuping plates. Don't think will go hear again. There are nicer places for a better price.

We passed by the restaurant while strolling along the Yarra bank and decided to walked in. It was quite busy with a most of the tables were occupied. We ordered a few small dishes as we did have dinner before that. The food was served quite fast. It was good but a bit salty to my taste
