The best bar in Chippendale, Sydney. Every drink has a unique serving style & it’s an experience like none other. Very creative & interesting, we loved it totally. They have variety of drinks including Christmas Pav & Trifle. Staff is friendly. Perfect spot for date night or to celebrate any occasion.

Additionally, there was a rather loud street performance happening just outside, which, while lively, made it difficult to fully enjoy a decent coversation and the atmospheric elements of the bar, including the music that was meant to accompany the Firestarter cocktail. If this is a regular occurrence, it’s something to keep in mind when making a reservation.

Although the experience was above average, the cocktails didn’t quite match the premium pricing. A bit more attention to the flavour profile instead of focusing on gimmicks would elevate the overall offering. Nonetheless, it's a great spot for an enjoyable evening with a buzzing ambience.

Intressant cocktaillista men personalen är inte alltför kunnig när de svarar på frågor om cocktailval. Vi hade cocktails här efter middagen. Dryck-menyn var imponerande! Vi hade flera olika drycker och åtnjöt grundligt dem alla. Stor intim plats. Jättebra service. Kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Vi (3 av oss) poppade in till Gin Lane för en snabb cocktail före middagen före middagen tvärs över vägen vid Automata (vilket var förresten fantastiskt) Det höll på med regn så inte idealiskt att sitta ute och folk tittar tyvärr så vi gick inomhus och satt i ett litet gap mellan 2 väggar som inte ens var en meter bred - väldigt knäppa och mycket roligt - detta är inte en kritik - Vi tyckte att det var väldigt roligt och det var tänkt att vara det. Fantastisk cocktaillista och jag skulle ha älskat att ha ägnat mer tid på att bläddra och prova några men vi var kort i tid på grund av middagsbokningen så jag valde Breaking bad och min vän valde en rosa pepparkorngin och tonic - båda serverades snabbt , presenteras bra och mycket trevligt. Efter att ha väntat i över 20 minuter på relativt enkla cocktails (Negronis) kontaktades vi och frågade om vi skulle vilja beställa en ny drink. Min första drink hade knappt rört på mina läppar. Er. . . Nej. När jag betalade kontot kontant, sa jag till servitören att behålla ändringen. De förde förändringen. . . i 20 c delar. Helt förakt (och ingen av oss hade klagat på väntan). Jag antar att om du är över 30, vill de inte att du rör dig i deras ungdomliga utrymme.

Hit denna plats på fredag kväll och blev imponerad. Olika gin cocktails och mycket unika mönster och smaker. Hade en fantastisk tid och denna plats är ett måste se. Personalvänliga men vi drack bara några cocktails utan mat men kommer att vara tillbaka. Fin blandning av människor också.

Denna plats är bäst! Bra atmosfär, bra service och dryckerna var bara fantastiska. Vi hade planerat att åka i evigheter och tog vänner som var i Sydney för helgen - helt önskar att vi hade gjort det förr! Gin Lane får balansen mellan kul och sofistikering. Och om du inte vill ha en gincoctail finns det naturligtvis många en god gin att ha G&T efter ditt val, liksom de vanliga misstänkta i öl, spritdrycker - och bubblor! Gå hit om du vill prova något speciellt och ovanligt - en upplevelse, inte bara en drink - men det tar sig inte för allvarligt. Det som är vackert är att du lätt kan gå varje vecka (jag tror att vi kommer tills vi kommer igenom cocktaillistan). Om du gillar smokey drycker måste du prova Gunpowder Plot (det är värt det ensam men drinken var fantastisk); Lightbulb Moment var väldigt välsmakande, och GoT Wildfire var lysande i smak och kul. Min make, som gillar gin men normalt inte skulle beställa en, beskrev dryckerna som "spektakulära"! Kan du säga att vi gillade det? Gå gå gå. Du kommer att prata om det i flera dagar.

Helt dekadent utekväll med överlägsen cocktails - underskattade hur mycket jag gillar gin! The Gunpowder Plot är en måste - och citron Aspen Gimlet läckra. Definitivt återvänder till denna coola lilla hitta undanstoppad i Kensington street. Personalen var uppmärksam, särskilt Victor, en total pärla som gav stora rekommendationer.
