Kittyhawk is such an exciting place to host your wedding.  Bobby and I have have been working as wedding photographers together for over a decade and we couldn't get over the energy that Kittyhawk infuses into a wedding celebration.  The venue has an exuberant heartbeat which filters through into the mood of the entire celebration.  There's an abundance of hotels close by for you and your parter to get ready at and Kittyhawk itself has the space to host both your ceremony and reception all under the same roof.  There's a plethora of locations all within walking distance for your portraits which means you will back celebrating with your guests before you know it.  Fiona, Jason and the rest of the Kittyhawk team will look after you so well in the lead up to the day.  If you are looking for a space that several buckets worth of personality and is close to so many facilities for your day, then this will definitely tickle your fancy.

Highly recommended . Went Tuesday night and had the banquet and the hostess and waitress Helen was soo amazing! She explained the menu with ease, made us feel at home soo much that we came back the next day for lunch and had the oysters and steak. The second day we had Madison who also was amazing. Besides the amazing staff the food is exceptional and the ambiance is well worth it . I came in with my child and they made us feel welcomed and we ate and had nothing short of a wonderful experience !

We came here for liberation hour on a Saturday afternoon, which is from 4-6pm every day they are open. What a cosy space with multiple areas. It reminded us of being back in France. The service was excellent. The prices were insane for Sydney - $6 for wines $12 for 🍸.  We didn't eat as it was a bit early. A definite return visit is in the cards.

Kittyhawk hosted our wedding ceremony and reception. Our ceremony was held in the Conservatory and we headed upstairs to The Officer's Mess for the reception.

We had a fantastic time working with Fiona and her amazing events team who guided us through all the details and timings for the big day. Their attention to detail made the lead up to the wedding stress-free. We really enjoyed our time with our bartender to create special cocktails for our wedding and the Kittyhawk team were so accommodating with the menu, dietary requirements and keeping our guests.

All of our guests were impressed with the care and thoughtfulness of the Kittyhawk team. Everybody went above and beyond what we had expected.

We cannot recommend KittyHawk and the team there enough! We had our wedding ceremony and reception, and everything was so well done. The staff were friendly and service was exceptional. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were a big hit.

A massive thanks to Fiona the events manager who was so easy to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. We will definitely be coming back soon to relive the moment!

Läckra ostron, förrätter och huvudrätter vi alla valde att dela. Vår servitör var en plats på med cocktail rekommendationer, mycket vänlig och effektiv trots att det är ganska upptagen.

Något gömt nedför en körfält har denna bar / restaurang en fransk bistro-atmosfär. De erbjuder ett stort utbud av drycker som skulle tillfredsställa vem som helst. Menyn är begränsad och syftar mer till delning och barmat. Stek och chips är klassisk fransk stil och rekommenderas. Belysningsnivån är låg och hela arenan känns mysig och bekväm. Idealisk för affärslunch, drycker efter arbetet eller en snabb måltid för par eller små grupper.

Fantastisk plats för en lugn drink eller för en händelse. Maten är fantastisk. Det finns rullstols tillgänglighet genom bottenvåningen ingången.

Stannade in för några drinkar och att fånga levande musik. Avslutade ta en sen natt mellanmål samt och hade en bra tid. Baren personal var verkligen vänliga, hjälpsamma och visste deras grejer när det gäller att blanda en god drink!

Hade middag på en lördagskväll och det var definitivt en för böckerna. Så snart du gick in, kan du se valet av sprit som de erbjuder! Definitivt rekommendera att du beställer några drinkar som det är soooooo bra och presentationen är riktigt coolt. Hade befrielsedagens meny där du får en entree, en huvud och en efterrätt; du får ditt värde för pengarna med den här och lammets axel är att dö för! Tjänsten var stor som vi var väl tittat. Jag höll nyligen min 21 gata vid Kittyhawk och var mycket imponerad. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående och säkerställde regelbundet min familj och jag var nöjd med tjänsten under natten. Canapes var läckra och mycket populära hos gästerna, och evenemangsrummet (kallat Officers Mess) hade mycket snygga franska vibbar med stora rumsliga dimensioner. Jag kommer definitivt rekommendera Kittyhawk till min familj och vänner i framtiden.

Min vän hade valt denna bar för vårt nattbesök (24 januari 2019) i Sydney för att fira min systers födelsedag och vad ett hemskt beslut var det. För det första hade jag pre-arrangerat en "dessertplatta med grattis på födelsedagen xxx" men visade sig att Kittyhawks bokningssystem hade en glitch så vår bokning var på fel datum. De var emellertid inte ursäkta om detta systems glitch och i stället ansåg att båda parter (restaurang och klienter) bidrog till kvällens olyckor. Sedan när vi frågade om dessertplattan, fick vi veta att deras meny inte har något dessert objekt varför det var omöjligt för dem att erbjuda dessert skylt alls. (De hade trodde att vi tog in en tårta och de skulle bara ge en tom skylt). Mitt i vårt klagomål om tårtprovningen hade chefen Josh pekat på min pojkvän (som var dozing) att han inte så bra ut och han behövde vakna. Visst vi förstår av säkerhetsskäl att min pojkvän borde ha hållit sig vaken, men det lät oförskämt och stötande att Josh valde just nu för att göra den här kommentaren. Min pojkvän måste ha dozed i minst 10 minuter. och det var en tom bar så säker på att Josh kunde ha väckt honom tidigare om han verkligen kände sig nödvändig.

Häftigt ställe. Platsen såg bra ut med uppsättningen och den strålande ryggstången av rom och råg. Tjänsten var fantastisk. Maten var fantastisk. Servitrisen såg till att vi var omhändertagna och hon var också säker på att vi hydratiserade oss själva. Stor känsla för RSA och bra service. Kommer dit igen och igen. Måste besöka plats i sydney än en gång för en bra utekväll.

Kan inte kommentera mat. Akustik hemskt. Vin av nypen, åtminstone det verkade det av priset / kvantiteten.

Ser fantastisk ut, menyn tantalizing och cocktailsna frestande. I verkligheten är det dock ganska självsamt. Den lovade levande musiken var relaterad till en person som sjöng från sitt bord, akustiken var så dålig. Maten var grundläggande franska, men de flesta var dåligt avrättade.

Kommer att förorda detta genom att säga att vi bara hamnade med cocktails / drycker. . och missade levande underhållning (som verkar vara hit eller miss baserat på andra recensioner). Vi gjorde inte en reservation och tydligt borde ha; men vid ankomst (runt 630 på lördagskvällen) var matsalen gles, bokstavligen ett fullt bord och kunde fortfarande inte rymma för 2 personer. Tittade på baren / canape menyn och bestämde sig inte värt att slösa pengarna på maten som erbjöds. Vi hade just varit i 3 andra cocktailbarer, och vi hade höga förväntningar på den senaste delen i rotationen. Det blev kort. Potentiellt en lite hängande reflektion men mina vänner cocktail saknade någon verklig kraft och med tanke på den omfattande listan av boubons / whisky / ryes, blev chockad när den jag var efter var inte tillgänglig. Bartenderen gav två alternativ men presenterade dem på ett sådant sätt att jag borde ha varit tacksam för honom att ta sig tid att förklara för mig (inte på något sätt en aficionado) i häftigaste termer. Medan jag normalt skulle ge en plats som denna annan spricka, har jag verkligen ingen önskan att gå tillbaka. Om du är en whisky / råg typ en gal, kan det vara värt att gå men tyckte mig mycket mer på Baxters Inn.

Vi älskade Kittyhawk. Maten var utmärkt, tjänsten professionell och vi älskade levande musik.

Jag har varit några gånger till KittyHawk och har aldrig blivit besviken men mitt senaste besök med kollegor var dyster. Fri nattmusiken var bara för högt och vi skrek ganska mycket över bordet för att bli hört. Det var inte den mjuka natten jämfört med torsdag och lördag som du får med Live Jazz. Maten var dåligt kokta (och skickas tillbaka) och rätter anlände mycket sent / sida rätter anlände inte i tid. Jag var generad att ta med kollegor efter att ha glömt på hur stor atmosfären och maten var. Cocktails är underbara. Om du vill gå döv medan du dricker långsamt fantastiska cocktails är den här platsen idealisk på fred annars undviker du frinatt och huvudet på över torsdag eller lör när husbandet spelar.

En vacker franskt tema bar från samma killar bakom Lobo Plantage. Det är de lilla röra som gör atmosfären, från den gammaldags champagne glasögon till konstverket och gamla - yimdy föremål dotting baren. Inredningens känsla är mörkt trä, stearinljus, guld och glas överallt. Tjänsten är alltid fantastisk. Bartenders är vänliga, kunniga och roliga. En av de platser som du är helt bekväm att hänga ut lite om du väntar på en kompis eller ett datum. De är alltid genuint glada att gå igenom olika viner eller sprit för att hitta exakt vad du vill ha. Massor av dem är verkligen passionerade för en god drink. Sällsynt i Sydney. Vinlistan är bra och maten är utsökt. Bra ställe för middag om du har ett gäng foodie, vinälskande kompisar som vill bosätta sig i en speglad lädertäckt bås. Att komma upp är svårt. Lutar mot den dyrare sidan, men värt det om du känner dig som en mer elegant kväll. Perfekt för vinternätter.
