Had an absolute ball at this place. Went for the dinner/burlesque show & it was spectacular!! The food was fantastic with great portions & the entertainment was brilliant! Loved the costumes! Loved the fitout & was seated in one of the booths near the front so had a great view of the show. Only thing that could be improved is the service, it was hard to get the attention of any staff to order drinks. Apart from that would highly recommend checking this place out! Great for date nights, girl nights/medium groups.

Not surprised why this place is 5.0. Food were superbly satisfying, ambient chill place, and service that we got from Alice, was top notch!

A special mention goes to Alice, who provided us with impeccable service throughout the evening. She was not only welcoming and attentive but also went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was both enjoyable and memorable. Her professionalism and warm demeanor truly elevated our time at Cardea, and we are incredibly grateful for her outstanding hospitality. We've celebrated our friends birthday and it was amazing how they accommodated us.

The food was absolutely delicious – every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, and clearly prepared with great care and attention to detail. The cocktails were also fantastic, crafted to perfection and complemented our meals beautifully.

Great place. Good service. Great aesthetic. Buuuut oh my gosh, the live music was waaaay toooooo loud. We just couldn't hear literally the person next to us.

We then told the waitress it was too loud who agreed (as we could barely order and she was leaning right over to strain to hear us).

Now, I love live music but it was just far too much. We told the manager and they said they would turn it down and didn't. So, we ended up having to leave as we just couldn't hear each other.

Even the long table next to us kept walking out to talk and then coming back in.

Fun venue but yeah the crazy volumes made it super uncomfortable. We werent there to see a show in silence - we were there for dinner and drinks.

A great vibe, thoroughly enjoyed the concept of ordering several appetisers & drinks while listening to a live band/music. The appetisers and drinks were fantastic, generous servings. The decor really complimented the ambience, giving an RnB feel. The live RnB performer was awesome, with some great late 80s late 90s throwbacks. If you're not shy, some great tracks will get you dancing on their dance floor. Waiters are friendly, hospitable, and attentive. Highlighly recommend.

Atmosfären är enkelt chic och snygg perfekt för en cocktail eller fyra; ) Teamet på Cardea fick oss att känna sig så välkomna och dryckerna är nästa - nivå. Vi provade också några av tallrikarna och de var utsökta. Livemusiken tillförde en så rolig känsla utan att vara för högljudd, vilket gör det enkelt att chatta och njuta av kvällen. Det är tydligt att teamet lägger ner mycket tanke på varje detalj, från inredningen till Servicen. Kommer definitivt tillbaka, Cardea är ett måste - besök i Barangaroo!

Jag firade nyligen min födelsedag på Cardea, en fantastisk lönnkrog - stilbar och liveunderhållningsplats undangömt i Barangaroo, och jag kunde inte ha valt en bättre plats! Vibbarna var oklanderliga – från det ögonblick vi klev in var stämningen inställd på svag belysning, plyschiga interiörer och en atmosfär som kändes både glamorös och intim. Cocktailarna var topp - tier, vackert utformade och packade med smak, och bar snacks var perfekt för att hålla oss igång hela natten utan att känna sig alltför tung.

Jag behövde träffa en skadad danspartner och fredag kväll var den enda tid vi båda hade ledigt. Vi kilade båda iväg efter jobbet för att träffas på Wynyard, sedan promenera till Barrangaroo. Ont om tid att organisera utekvällen bokade jag online för kabarén (inklusive mat). Inklusive "bokningsavgiften" natten var nästan $ 250 plus ytterligare $ 48 i drycker en gång i rummet. Detta skulle förmodligen vara rimlig kostnad för en fredag kväll "date" men vi är inte romantiskt inblandade. Jag betalade en premie för att det var sista minuten. Kabarén var en burlesk show med "Porcelain Alice" som värd, mycket slug och professionell men ändå ganska intim och underhållande. Vår värdinna lämnade ofta scenen, vandrade genom publiken och pratade med gästerna med sin mikrofon. Att arbeta i folkmassa är en finslipad färdighet, jag blev imponerad. Porslin Alice är en riktig underhållare. Jag har hört talas om henne men burlesk är en sällsynt njutning så jag kan inte betygsätta henne mot andra liknande handlingar. Hon är söt, begåvad och repeterad. Det var två bröllopsfester (grupper av kvinnor som firade brudens sista natt i frihet) två födelsedagskalas och en examen. Atmosfären var festlig, publiken ganska ung och inredningen både modern och stämningsfull från 1900-talet. Personalen var vänlig uppmärksam och motiverad. Maten kom precis när det behövdes. En fast meny, det fanns några tapas typ rätter till förrätt och det viktigaste var ett val av burramundi eller anka. Salladen med huvudrätt delades. Andra människor hade tagit möjligheten att bara betala för showen och äta någon annanstans eller köpa från (begränsad) menyn men den fasta menyn uppfyllde och överträffade våra förväntningar så det var rimligt värde för pengarna för fine dining i centrala Sydney på en fredag kväll. Efter showen blandade en DJ danslåtar så vi dansade tills vi inte kunde dansa mer och gjorde sedan för järnvägsstationen och våra respektive hem. En bra fredagskväll start på en fantastisk helg.

Inredningen är attraktiv och mycket av det de har gjort är bra Musiken var alldeles för hög när vi anlände vilket gjorde samtal nästan omöjligt och valet var tungt på bas och inte alls den lätta eller sofistikerade jazz du kan förvänta dig Vi anlände under happy hour där en display på baren deklarerade 49 % rabatt på drinkar fram till 630 . Efter att ha sagt till servitrisen att vi inte ville missa happy hour beställde vi 2 cocktails när vi läste den begränsade menyn Vissa rätter var bra inklusive kyckling reglagen men $ 36 potatis Mille feuille var liten och uppgick till 3 små munsbitar. När vi kom för att betala räkningen noterade vi cocktails var fullpris och fick sedan veta att vi behövde beställa från happy hour drinkar menyn för att kvalificera sig. Happy hour dryckesmenyn verkar bara finnas på betalstället för att dela med missnöjda kunder. För mig är detta ett medvetet bedrägeri och jag delade den åsikten med chefen - jag fick intrycket att jag var långt ifrån den första Detta är synd - en annan ärlig operatör skulle kunna göra bra här
