Fantastic spot, and clearly a favorite for birthday celebrations—not surprising given the stunning views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

The menu was just how we like it: short, focused, and full of quality options. The Wagyu bresaola was hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the Mayura Platinum rump tartare was absolutely stellar.

For mains, we had the O’Connor MB5+ Rib Eye and the Mayura Station MB9+. Both were outstanding—cooked to perfection exactly as requested. Pressed potatoes were excellent, the sauce it came complemented the meal perfectly.

A great touch was their app, which helps you select the perfect wine for your meal. We followed the recommendations and ended up with a bottle that matched the evening flawlessly. If tech isn’t your thing, their sommelier is fantastic—knowledgeable, approachable, and eloquent.

Overall, an amazing experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a great time here, was recommended to a friend and had quite high expectations before coming, and by the time we finished all those expectations were blown away.

The food was fantastic, especially the tartare and the beef was cooked to exactly as requested. Vibes were great and the staff are just on another level in terms of service. Views is as to expected considering its on the perfect spot.

Overall an amazing service. Huge shout out to Daniele for a great time. Really enjoyed!

I’ve eaten at 6Head a fair few times now, and every visit has been great. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a proper dinner, the quality is always there. If you’re after a good steak, this is definitely a place to check out.

I’ve had a lot of steaks from here, and they’ve all been cooked really well. The tomahawk is a great option if you’re in a group—best for three or more people, but if you’re really hungry, you could split it with a date.

The sides are delish too. The mash is definitely something you don’t want to skip. The oysters are good, the caviar is nice if you’re into that, and the brioche buns are easily something I’d order again. I tried the mac and cheese too and it was good!

For dessert, the white chocolate one was really nice. The only thing I wasn’t too keen on was the pasta, but honestly, the focus here is on steak, and they get that right every time.

Very very good food here and great service too. Steak cooked perfectly and both the starters and sides, including sauces were all delicious. Perfectly seasoned and just exactly what you would expect from a place like this.

Only negative:

The drinks are dire here guys. They do not stack up to the level of the food remotely. The food and service was so good that I will still give this a 5 star but honestly if you are going to sell cocktails, sort it out. Ordered an old fashioned, and what arrived was a glass of whiskey over ice. Planned to stay for a few drinks but the cocktail was so lazily put together we opted to leave.

That’s my only complaint about here, as I want to reiterate for all reading that the food and service is truly phenomenal. But with a bar and cocktails on the menu, one would expect much better. Can’t speak to the other cocktails but looking around at other tables, the rest didn’t look much better.

I had an incredible experience at 6HEAD. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. The food was simply outstanding—each dish was perfectly crafted, with well-balanced flavors and impeccable presentation.
However, what truly made our visit exceptional was the service from Daniele, our waiter. His professionalism, kindness, and deep knowledge of the menu were unmatched. He made us feel welcomed at all times, offering excellent recommendations with genuine passion. His service was the best I’ve ever experienced—attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring that everything was perfect.
Without a doubt, 6HEAD is a place I will return to and highly recommend. If you have the chance to be served by Daniele, I guarantee your visit will be even more special.

Felfri från början till slut! Service i toppklass, menyval och mat. Middag här med vår familj och fyra av fem av oss åt biffar och vi var alla överens om att de var de mest smakrika vi någonsin hade ätit. Detta var den bästa måltiden vi hade i Sydney och enligt min mening är det ett måste att besöka om i Sydney!

Middag på 6 Head var en exceptionell upplevelse! Maten var vackert presenterad och full av smak, Servicen var varm och uppmärksam, och atmosfären gjorde kvällen verkligen speciell. Rekommenderas för alla som letar efter en minnesvärd måltid i Sydney.

Fantastisk mat med utsikt över operahuset! Jag gick nyligen till 6 Head med min fru för att fira vår bröllopsdag. Delningsmenyn var bra, särskilt kammusslorna, och portionen var riktigt bra också. Det bästa var förstås biffen! Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam personal och ett riktigt bra vinutbud. Beläget i Campbell Cove får du en fantastisk utsikt över Sydney Opera House och det är en bra människor tittar på plats också Sammantaget en riktigt bra lunch.

Lunch igår på denna fantastiska restaurang med utsikt över Operahuset, vattnet och Harbour Bridge. Härliga biffar, att välja en medium sällsynt 400 g ribeye, chips, sallad och brysselkål, sköljs ner med en rose d'Provence. Längtar efter att äta här igen, inte bara för maten och vinet, men också för den lugna atmosfären och fantastisk utsikt!

Förrätter: Vi beställde Kingfish Ceviche — tyvärr smakade fisken inte färsk, vilket verkligen tog bort från rätten. Den gulfenade tonfisken var hygglig — välbalanserad och okej, men inget minnesvärt. XO Räkor hade potential, men de var märkbart brända, vilket övermannade smaken. Wagyu Steaks: Vi beställde två: en väl - gjort och en medium - väl. Båda var torra och saknade den rikedom och mörhet du förväntar dig av Wagyu - ganska underväldigande, särskilt för priset. Överraskande nog var den bästa biffen barnens biff — ja - tillagad och smakrik. Service och atmosfär var härlig, men tyvärr maten levde inte upp till hypen eller premium prissättning.

Exceptionell biff och kunnig vänlig service. Överraskningen var kvaliteten på sidorna; brysselkål, sallad, pommes frites och vår favorittryffel Mac och ost, var rent nöje!

Fantastiskt stekhus. Vi satt utanför i en härlig bekväm miljö. Inte alltför bullriga och fin utsikt över hamnen/marina. Borden är mycket fint dekorerade. Fina barnmenyer. Personalen var mycket uppmärksam och professionell. Kan starkt rekommendera om du är fan av biffar.

Härlig miljö och service började bra med fina inslag (servett utlagd, stolar dras ut) men sedan svansade av som natten pågick. Lite områden som att inte fylla på vatten och sedan vår server Nico avsluta för natten innan vår dessert anlände och ingen annan checkar in i över 30 minuter. När vi tog upp detta med en annan server sa han att han hade hållit ett öga på oss vilket var konstigt eftersom vi hade lämnat det mesta av desserten som inte var bra och försökt fånga personalens ögon i 10 minuter. Biffar var bra och såser härliga. Calamari var riktigt mjuk och lagade väl. Banoffeedesserten saknade dock konsistens och serveringen i allmänhet verkade fokusera på borden som spenderade mer på dryck eller större grupper vilket var synd.

Lita på sommeliererna Vincint och Tibor. Vår servitris Jamie var ganska kunnig om produkten av priset. uppfriskande för chefen att göra förfrågningar vid bordet för vår åsikt om måltidsdryckerna och personalen

Vilken fantastisk upplevelse det var att äta middag på denna restaurang. Från det ögonblick vi anlände vår hovmästare Danielle var på bollen att leverera enastående tjänster. Maten och servicen och vinkompisen ikväll fantastiskt ❤️

Lysande personal. Bra val och förstklassig mat. Stort urval med prisklass överväganden på plats. Rekommenderar att slå signaturen cocktails också.

6 Head är ett högkvalitativt stekhus beläget i en historisk rad av byggnader som ligger under infarten till Harbor Bridge. Maten är fantastisk, och utsikten är fantastisk. Kanske får du se ett kryssningsfartygs dramatiska avgång från den utländska passagerarterminalen i Circular Quay. Jag blev tillfälligt stoppad i trappan när jag eskorterades till vårt bord på övre plan. Åsynen av massiva biffar som tillagas över öppen eld är imponerande och stoppade mig mitt i steget. Matsalen på övervåningen är lämpligt varm, mörk, tyst och mysig. Men många människor föredrar att äta på bottenvåningen uteplats för utsikten. Vi började med varmt och gott husbakat bröd serverat med lyxigt rökt wagyusmör, följt av en Caesarsallad serverad på två skivor Romainesallad. Tyvärr var köket slut på torkad biff den dagen. Så den andra stjärnan i showen var en 400 g MB 5 revben - biff delas för två. Kokt helt medium - sällsynt, var detta mer än tillräckligt för två personer som lider av jet - lagg. Den vänstra - överbiff smakade ännu bättre nästa dag med den distinkta smaken av rökförkolnat fett. De tre skivorna av ”pressad potatis” toppad med svart tobiko var ett mättande och högdensitetsalternativ till mos. Vår servitör var professionell och uppmärksam. Han bytte till och med ut en cocktail som jag inte gillade mot en annan. Rekommenderas starkt för en speciell middag på Sydney hamnen. Bokningar krävs, och du kommer förmodligen att behöva gå på vattnet förbi kryssningsterminalen för att nå denna isolerade restaurang.
