First pub in Sydney and it was a smash! Let’s get into the review.

The classic, rustic interiors, barrels as tables, and servers dressed in traditional German attire instantly transport you to a Bavarian beer hall. Add some great live music to the mix, and the vibe is a solid 5/5.

Beer – The Real Star of the Show:
Their German beers on tap are the highlight. We tried:
•	Munich Lager – 5/5: Crisp, light, and refreshing.
•	Paulaner Weissbier – 5/5: Fruity, smooth, and super refreshing.
•	Löwenbräu Original – 5/5: Classic, smooth, and perfectly crisp.

Drinking from the giant steins genuinely makes you feel like a Nordic warrior – the whole beer experience is perfect. That said, be ready to spend a little more than usual. It’s not cheap, but worth it for the experience.

Food – A Bit of a Mixed Bag:
We weren’t there for the food, but tried a few things:
•	Classic Pretzel – 4/5: Good but not mind-blowing (speaking as someone who makes pretzels). The salt wasn’t evenly sprinkled, and the butter was a bit much.
•	Cheese & Jalapeño Pretzel – 3/5: Felt like overkill. Too much cheese drowning the pretzel. Could definitely be simplified.
•	Potato Salad – 3/5: Basic and unremarkable.
Apple strudel - Could be better 3/5

Service:
Service was decent – prompt and attentive enough, especially considering it was a busy night.

Overall:
Go for the beer, stay for the vibe. The food is secondary but does the job. Perfect spot if you’re chasing that traditional beer hall experience right in Sydney.

Although the menu is not extensive, the items listed are the ones that would be generally ordered the most. The large Pork Knuckle is the most popular from what I have seen for lunch and dinner. It is huge, and it tastes real good. Definitely worth a visit.

It was busy on a Friday evening though we got a table inside pretty quick. I was surprised at how roomy the place is inside. The atmosphere were brimming with live music and performance and it was quite loud.

We ordered the Munich platter for sharing and Heidi’s forest salad as well. The platter was huge for the two of us and I liked the sausages a lot. The crackling pork belly and the pork knuckle was a tad too salty to me though I liked the tenderness and juiciness of the meat.

The wait staff were very friendly and polite to us and we didn’t wait long to get our food served even though the place was busy. Thumbs up to the good service and good food.

Came here with work colleagues and it was a fun night. Great atmosphere, love the live band and the service is good. We had the Munich platter great selection loved the pork knuckle, sausages, schnitzel and gravy! We asked to swap out the mash for chips which was the best idea! Heaps of food so make sure you come on an empty stomach!

Had such a fun night! The food was delicious, the service was awesome and the vibe was just right. The live band trio was the cherry on top - so much fun! Our waiter, Juan, was super attentive, even with a packed house. Can’t wait to come back! 🍻

Fantastisk kväll med vänner och ung familj. Ölen var mycket god och kall, maten var mycket nära vad jag har upplevt i München och Servicen var vänlig. De 3 killarna underhöll oss var roliga och gjorde sitt bästa för att se till att vi alla hade en bra tid. Inte dyrt så stort värde. Njöt av smakplattan

En skanning av menyn borde ha förvarnat mig om att detta inte skulle vara äkta bayersk mat. IT är rikligt, men allt bara lite vanligt. Jag brukar inte lämna mat bakom mig, men IT blev bara en för stor ansträngning att äta längre. Närmare bestämt var korvarna torra och lite smaklösa. Likaså var den allmänt förekommande schnitzeln torr. Även ”öljusen” var smaklös, men behövdes för att hjälpa till att äta den torra schnitzeln. Rotkohlen såg ut och smakade som IT gjordes senast igår, och surkålen hade helt klart precis skopats ur en burk. Vilken besvikelse efter en fantastisk måltid på Hofbrauhaus i Melbourne förra veckan. Kanske ledningen borde kolla in dem för att se riktig äkta bayersk mat.

En timme senare, efter att ha jagat vår beställning, fick veta att de förlagt biljetten och bara lagade den då. Ärligt talat? ! ! ? ! Gå bara till denna plats om du inte har något annat planerat för resten av dagen. Om du bestämmer dig för att komma och äta här, börja jaga maten om den inte har levererats efter 30 minuter. Det kanske aldrig kommer om du inte gör det.

Bästa utekvällen i Sydney bortom ... Service , mat och atmosfär är fantastiskt till ett fantastiskt pris . . BUT. . . . . . vad som gör denna plats Ännu bättre än någon annan restaurang är de 3 herrar som spelar levande musik och har Briljant enkla tävlingsspel för dig att delta i om du vill . . . de ger denna plats och din kväll bortom en fantastisk trevlig upplevelse för hela din familj i alla åldrar . . . (ung som gammal - de är helt fantastiska underhållare ) efter att ha besökt Australien . . . detta var en av de bästa utekvällarna vi hade på grund av dessa 3 herrar . . . alla i restaurangen älskade dessa killar . . [en anteckning till ledningen - dessa killar är verkligen framgången för denna underbara plats som gör detta till den bästa familjen ute i Sydney ] ett uppriktigt tack till alla för att ge oss en av de bästa utekvällarna

Barmat i Tyskland kan vara fantastiskt. Stekt fläsk, anka, korv, salta soppor och rejäla kringlor ersätter pizza, hamburgare, tacos och kycklingvingar som är så välkända i USA. Naturligtvis är brygderna på kran i Tyskland färska, rena och okomplicerade. Vi var ganska imponerade av atmosfären och kvaliteten på München Brauhaus på The Rocks i Sydney. Precis som i München fanns det bord med asiatiska turister över - hänge sig åt flera liter ett äkta öl importerat direkt från Tyskland. Vi hade en enorm "söndagsstek" vid 13:00 och var inte intresserade av en stor middag. Istället delade min fru och jag en halv portion schweinshaxe (en krispig rostad fläskhock) serverad med kryddäpple och potatis. Det var lika gott som vi minns från vår resa till Tyskland. En halv liter var av importerad och välsmakande 'weiss beir' och vi var klara.

Mycket upptagen plats. Endast en tonic tillgänglig för gin. Dyrt för vad det var och toaletterna tutar. Han vägrade gå tillbaka.

Bisarrt att hitta en bayersk Bier Keller i Sydney och jag gillade den autentiska känslan av platsen. Det framgick inte om det var barservering eller bordsservering utanför. Jag frågade så småningom och servitrisen sa att det var barservice utifrån, men som jag hade bett henne, skulle hon ta vår beställning, men vi var tvungna att betala när du beställer (förmodligen för att stoppa "Dine och Dash) . Så beställning tas, drinkar kommer och servitris kom tillbaka efter 5 x minuter och frågade om vi väntade på notan? Jag sa att vi inte ätit än och iväg gick hon! Mat kom (Chicken Schnitzel) och det var riktigt bra (och en stor portion) . Jag älskade ölen i Litres, och även om det är en lokal med tyskt tema, hade det varit bra att ha en australiensisk öl som Victoria Bitter som alternativ på draught, tänkte jag. När det kom till betalning, med ingen - nu intresserad, gick jag in och betalade. Bra ställe med vänlig personal, men lite oberäknelig och inkonsekvent service.

Positiva: Maten var riktigt bra, utsökt och ölen var bra. Vi beställde fläskschnitzlarna och de var utmärkta men det var synd att de inte bjöd på kalvkött. Negativ: Servicen var under tillfredsställande. Vi fortsatte att jaga upp servitriser / servitörer för att beställa mat, få bestick, vatten, de satte oss i princip ner och lämnade oss. Det var inte särskilt upptaget just då heller. Mat dock, är värt att gå för igen.

Vi stannade till för lunch när man undrade runt klipporna. Vi valde lunchspecialen som var en bra affär och inkluderade en öl. Öl var ganska bra och maten var välsmakande. Jag åt fläskmacka och min man kycklingschnitzel. Servicen var ursprungligen okej men det tog lång tid för vår mat att komma fram, flera bord som beställde efter oss fick sin mat före oss, Personalen var ursäktande och jagade upp det, tog fortfarande nästan 50 minuter att få vår mat,

- Okej. Cool känsla. En irriterande sak var att de satt människor vid samma bord som oss trots att vårt rum var massiv och det fanns så många bord gratis hela tiden vi var där. Maten var okej, servicen var bra.

Bayerska Brauhaus är bra för ett besök. Helt klart är det omtyckt av de asiatiska turisterna som var de flesta av kunderna. En del tysk öl erbjuds men de två som jag valde var inte tillgängliga, så jag slutade med en halv liter av vad som smakade Tooheys Ny öl... med ett tyskt namn... ! Maten är ganska klassisk tysk med massor av schnitzel val men bara fläsk och kycklingkött. Inget kalvkött vilket är en besvikelse. Jag beställde en kringla och blev återigen besviken på storleken. Du förstår, riktiga bayerska kringlor är vanligtvis 200 mm till 250 mm långa och breda men den här blev ungefär 110 i diameter. Vi åker till Tyskland ofta som vi har familj där så kringlan var verkligen inte tillfredsställande och vi skickade tillbaka den. Vid $ 7 vardera är det så dyrt - tyska kringlor är ca $ 1 . 6 till $ 2 . 5 i Tyskland. Vi ville inte ha mycket så vi fick Aufschnitt Teller - en tallrik ost och kallt kött med bröd. Det var jättegott. Vi planerar att återvända med vänner för en lång lunch. Lite turistigt och dyrt men värt att besöka.

Det här stället har allt. Kul, musik, bra mat och den bästa servitrisen i Sydney. Connie var fantastisk med sitt vänliga sätt och fantastisk service. Maten var också fantastisk. Den bästa fläskknogen vi någonsin ätit, superba räkor och alldeles för mycket mat. Vi paddlade iväg mycket nöjda. Vår bästa natt i Sydney
