I had the best night out with my best friends here. I didn't expect the live band and it was fantastic! Their cocktails were great, waitress were beautiful and kind, bartenders were super fast! I saw a many dressed up group of people sining along the band. A must go place on Friday night!

Came here for some drinks before we headed for dinner elsewhere. The place was packed but the staff were still very kind and welcoming to us. We got a drink and stood by the bar as there were no tables available, but the place still gave off such a good vibe! Definitely want to come back properly to try the food.

I love moody, darkly-lit places, sprinkled with candles, and hidden nooks-and -crannies where you feel both far away and still a part of the bar. And Palmer and Company certainly delivered.

The drinks were very good. There was only one miss.  I ordered a caipirinha, and they said that the fruit would be strawberry, and I asked if it was sweet, and the server said, “a little bit, but not really” and it was far too sweet. I drink Cachaça plain with a little bit of lime, because Cachaça has such a funky flavor that it really goes well in a caipirinha, which is a very bare-Bones drink, allowing the Cachaça to shine. But, in this case, the cachaca seemed buried by the strawberry. If this were a bolder, darker rum, perhaps, but
Cachaça is exquisite and really does not deserve to be overpowered.  The other drinks were good, and our server took his time with me, giving me samples of wines. Most of the reds were too light, but they definitely had one winner! I’m trying to adjust my California palate to Australian wines. Australian wines are great, but I like a big juicy Cabernet, so I’m trying to find my balance here. They also have an exquisite champagne list, but I’ve been drinking so much bubbly lately that I opted not to have any.

The offering that we enjoyed the most (believe it or not) was their interpretation of steak tartare... on Doritos. Perhaps we were craving a little slice of back home in the states, but tartare Doritos was a seemingly ridiculous idea that really worked! The Tartare was lovely, and the cheesy Crunch of the Doritos enhanced the other elements that they put on the mix such as avocados and jalapeños. It was messy and a little odd, but, for some reason, it did work. My husband also had a spicy pork jaffle. Basically, a jaffle seems to be the equivalent of a pressed Panini sandwich, and reminds me of when we go camping and we bring the cast iron sandwich-makers and cook them over the fire. It was a fun idea. And I had a… Hotdog. I have been eating such interesting and high-end food all week that I reverted to a hotdog for one of my last meals in Sydney. It was okay. I would say, for future if they’re trying to make a regular New York style hotdog they should dial back on the onions, and really amp up on mustard. But overall, fairly authentic.

Server was efficient without being obtrusive. He was there when we needed him, but mostly was absent, But seemed to intuit when we needed something which was great and it made the experience seem even more intimate.

I believe we came through the wrong entrance, because later we saw a host bringing people from another room and greeting them. We entered from the side alley through a back door, but it made it even more authentic to feel like we were walking into a speakeasy. The host who was seating patrons seemed really peppy, so I’m glad we found our way on our own. I was not in the mood for peppy.

Overall, a five star experience featuring interesting food, finally crafted cocktails, and a beautiful dimly-lit interior with comfortable seats.

what a super cool place. we popped in for some Sunday evening drinks. managed to easily get seats (6pm on a Sunday) . Our waitress was lovely and super helpful (don't remember her name but she was originally from the uk - and if you read this, THANK YOU for such wonderful service). anyway she helped reccomend some cocktails and they were amazing.
we were then hungry and we had heard of Mr Wongs... turns out it's right next door and owned by the same group. Anyway, our waitress then helped us secure a table and took us through to our seats.
really truly amazing service and super friendly cool atmosphere. and the drinks were awesome.

Detta var allt jag någonsin hade velat se i en lönnkrog, och det gjorde ingen besviken. Det är ett MÅSTE - SE i Sydney!

Jag älskar lynniga, mörkt - upplysta platser, beströdda med ljus, och dolda skrymslen - och - vrår där man känner sig både långt borta och ändå en del av baren. Palmer och Company levererade. Drinkarna var mycket bra. Det var bara en miss. Jag beställde en caipirinha, och de sa att frukten skulle vara jordgubbe, och jag frågade om den var söt, och servern sa, “lite, men inte riktigt” och det var alldeles för sött. Jag dricker Cachaça plain med lite lime, eftersom Cachaça har en så funky smak att den verkligen passar bra i en caipirinha, som är en mycket naken - Bones dricker, vilket gör att Cachaça glänser. Men i det här fallet verkade cachaca vara begravd av jordgubben. Om det här var en djärvare, mörkare rom, kanske, men Cachaça är utsökt och förtjänar verkligen inte att övermannas. De andra drinkarna var goda, och vår server tog sin tid med mig, ger mig prover av viner. De flesta röda var för ljusa, men de hade definitivt en vinnare! Det var en rolig idé. Och jag hade en varmkorv. Jag har ätit så intressant och high-end mat hela veckan att jag återgick till en varmkorv för en av mina sista måltider i Sydney. Det var okej. Jag skulle säga, för framtiden om de försöker göra en vanlig New York-stil hotdog bör de ringa tillbaka på löken, och verkligen amp upp på senap. Men totalt sett, ganska äkta. Servern var effektiv utan att vara påträngande. Han var där när vi behövde honom, men mestadels var frånvarande, Men verkade intuit när vi behövde något som var bra och det gjorde upplevelsen verkar ännu mer intim. Jag tror att vi kom genom fel ingång, eftersom senare såg vi en värd som förde människor från ett annat rum och hälsade dem. Vi gick in från sidogränden genom en bakdörr, men det gjorde det ännu mer autentiskt att känna att vi gick in i en lönnkrog. Värd som satt beskyddare verkade riktigt peppy, så jag är glad att vi hittade vår väg på egen hand. Jag var inte på humör för Peppy. Sammantaget en femstjärnig upplevelse med intressant mat, äntligen skapade cocktails och en vacker svagt upplyst interiör med bekväma säten.

Detta är ett charmigt underjordiskt läge med en cool 1920-talskänsla. Cocktails var unika och välsmakande. Vi har också haft en charkbräda som hade en trevlig variation. Personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam med drinkförslag. Rekommenderas för ett besök.

Detta är en lönnkrog typ genre plats med några vändningar. Den är underground, autentisk, hade ett jazzband som spelade, en overklig atmosfär och var helt enkelt cool. Vi kommer att åka igen för säker. 😜

Min fru och jag träffade några vänner här för cocktails och snacks innan du går ut på middag. En bra cocktailbar i en fantastisk Speakeasy miljö. Underbara, kreativa cocktails, uppmärksam service, och en fantastisk atmosfär. Vi har verkligen haft oss själva och skulle älska att gå tillbaka!

Vilken lokal; superb margaritas också! Bra atmosfär, med personal som njuter av platsen. Rekommenderas varje kväll i veckan - har alltid en bra buzz

Bourbon-cocktail var bäst! Stor atmosfär, mycket avkopplande och bra service. Inte för upptagen på en vecka som jag gillar.

En vän till oss tog oss till Palmer & Co som en överraskning eftersom den uppenbara länken till vårt efternamn! Platsen i sig är väldigt cool och personalen och d cor är i 1920-talet som var riktigt intressant. Nu är det här är stopp. Vi visades till ett bord av en servitör och ignorerades sedan i 15 minuter. Min vän gick till baren för att försöka få en meny. Vi beställde äntligen några cocktails som tog ytterligare 15 minuter och jag fick en räkning och berättade att betala nu såvida jag inte ger dem mitt kreditkort för att ställa in en flik. Tyvärr inget sätt! Så vi var tvungna att betala för drinkarna innan vi kunde ta emot dem. De sa att det skulle hindra människor att gå ut utan att betala! Kom igen, ingen annanstans gör det så berätta vad. Få mer servicepersonal att ta hand om dina kunder och tar inte heller ut dem för utpressade priser när de äntligen får en drink.

Stor liten underjordisk bar, ingång genom en liten gränd. Personal klädd i perioddräkter, mycket livlig med ett fantastiskt liveband. Ganska högt och upptagen men bra atmosfär. Vackra cocktails men negronis serveras aldrig med krossad is. Ett stort isblock skulle vara stort.

Bara älskar denna källarbar, personalen är klädd för perioden, musik igen för perioden, 1920. Men alltför högt för att kunna prata om det finns fler än två personer, du måste bara skrika som alla andra. . . . . Maten är enkel men ok för en bar. Drycker görs alltid väl och servitriserna är varma och vänliga. Jag går inte när jag vet att det kommer att bli upptaget eftersom det är omöjligt att komma nära barerna eller nära en servitris eller servitör. Försök men gå tidigt.

Älskade hela underjordiska förbud bar atmosfär. Stor trendig bar men med priser som matchar. Denna plats händer verkligen så blir väldigt upptagen, så gå tidigt innan det är för trångt.

Palmer och co har en bra atmosfär och inredning. Personalen var vänlig. Vi hade rekommenderats att gå till Palmer och co för stora cocktails. Vi blev besvikna ibut det kan vara vad vi beställde. En av folket i vår grupp beställde en merlot och tog ett vitt vin första gången och fel storlek andra gången. Maten som vi beställde kom aldrig. Skräcken var den heftiga serviceavgiften när det inte fanns någon tjänst. Som jag nämnde Palmer och co rekommenderades starkt och jag hoppas att vi var där på en av natten om en sådan plats skulle ha en.

Om du har en sak för 20 s och 30 s är det här platsen att vara. Se upp för knäet att tändas för att ta en resa till denna hemliga bar. Musiken var bra, det fanns även ett liveband under natten. All personal är klädd som om de är från 20 s och den övergripande inredningen i baren passar temat. Det fanns ett bra urval av drycker att välja från, jag hade inte någon av maten men jag hör det är bra. Bra plats för grupper eller ens par.

Trevlig mysig atmosfär, maten var underbar och tjänsten var bra. Vi hade en grupp på fem så vi slutade med ett avskilt rum för kvällen som gjorde det lätt att kommunicera.

Jag råkar chansa på denna plats genom TripAdvisor. Njut av barens gästfrihet och service. De var också underbara för att underlätta deras systerrestaurang, herr Wong för min middag. Det var vad jag kallade positivt symbiotiskt förhållande med restaurangutloppet. Komplimanger till din Palmer personal.
