Amazing place, a must see if you are on Fraser Island.
A bridge brings you a bit in where this flow of water comes from, then you can go down into the water and walk the same path backwards. The water gets up to your thighs so make sure to wear shorts or even better a swimsuit. We visited in winter and the water was a bit cold but quite easy to get used to, it wasn’t freezing.
Nearby there are also some toilet facilities.

Fantastic place to swim in the fresh water creek not to deep and great for Kids and Adults.very relaxing times here.as are all the creeks we visited.not so the beach as beautiful as it is.due to stingies and sharks,so I'm told.dingos weren't a problem really tho we seen lots.i would recommend Fraser Ireland to anyone.cheers.

Although truly unique and special.. it's not as nice as it used to be. Too many people influx the area these days taking that natural beauty away from the area and leaving their rubbish. The boardwalk could do with some attention and the orange council tape/sheeting is off-putting draping over the boardwalk. Took a photo of the front of Eli creek only to delete it. Further up the boardwalk is nice... It's like a water jungle. Home to some cute little fish species ☺️
