It had been a while since we were at DOC, and it was nice to return on a hot Saturday evening. The outdoor seating was just right, with a bottle of Prosecco, some antipasti, and a Cornuto spicy pizza to match the vibe. The pizza was solid, just like we remembered, though the crust could’ve used a bit more fluffiness to take it up a notch. Still, the overall atmosphere, service, and food were all spot on, making for a laid-back and enjoyable evening. A few small tweaks, and it could be even better next time.

DOC Pizza and Mozzarella Bar was bustling when we arrived. I almost thought we wouldn’t get a seat, but luckily, there was a table available in the back. We got to sit by a cozy faux fireplace and enjoyed excellent service. The beautiful waitstaff took our orders and checked in on us throughout the evening. With soft music and beautiful artwork, the space felt genuinely authentic.

We decided on a margherita pizza and drinks, which were delicious! There were so many tempting options, including a variety of mozzarella spreads. Since we’d already eaten earlier, we opted for something light to share, but I’d recommend trying their cheese selections. Based on the pizza, I’d definitely be excited to come back and explore them more.

It’s a beautifully designed, truly authentic restaurant full of charm and atmosphere. I highly recommend getting adventurous and sampling their cheese selection—it’s something I’d love to do on my next visit!

I went to Pizza DOC and honestly the pizza is very tasty!
Like real italian pizza in Melbourne. The wine selection is great as well!
I very much appreciated service from Giovanni, he was very attentive, nice and polite.
