Foods were absolutely delicious and seasoning was refined and delicate. The wine was great as well. The staff's service and the atmosphere of the restaurant were both excellent. Highly recommended.

Impeccable food and dining experience, everything was incredible here and those snacks at the start of the menu are all show-stopping. Definitely would recommend getting the pork neck skewer, the ox tongue and the chargrilled duck heart. Dessert surprised me too, I was not initially interested in the mille feuille but ordered it after it came highly recommended by our waitress and while it looks simple - it was divine and was devoured by the three of us despite already being so full.

Terrific dining experience at Poodle Bar & Bistro. Wonderful atmosphere and vibe at this Gertrude Street venue. Excellent staff, super knowledgeable and attentive.

We opted for the Chef’s Selection on the menu - a share style option the features some of Poodle’s fav dishes. The food was very tasty and inventive. I enjoyed the majority of the dishes, all packed with great flavour. My only sour note was the hanger steak. It was cooked fine, it’s just not a great cut from my perspective.

Second visit to Poodle was ever better than the first experience. This time the steak, the 500g offering on the menu was outstanding.

The food is so creative and delicious! Amazing wine selection and well priced. This place was good value for money. If you’re looking for a place for a date or an intimate catch up THIS is the place. It was a pleasant surprise.

Some of the dishes did come too burnt (e.g. had to peel off the blackened fish skin), pork neck skewer we had to deal with, but was tasty nonetheless.
For desserts we preferred the soft chocolate, the honey cream/yoghurt was overpowered by too much rosemary.

Service was a stand out here.
