We had a fantastic day here! It's free to enter and so big that I'd recommend visiting multiple times. This is my second visit and I'm looking forward to returning. The colourful birds flying around are a lovely bonus. Plus, there's a nice playground for kids, making it a perfect destination for families. Highly recommended!

Large and rambling, maybe too large! The garden paths meander in all directions past a nice collection of specimens. Some sections are temporarily blocked off due to things like roosting flying foxes or music concerts. For a Friday, the gardens were unusually busy. Great place (naturally) for plant-spotting.

It's a beautiful place and the best thing is that it's completely free. So it's a real must for anyone who comes to Melbourne! The plants and trees are so big and old, I don't know where else you can see such diversity. I recommend it!

We decided to go here just for a walk and so glad we did.  It is free to enter and the gardens are beautifully kept.  Lots of areas to sit and have a picnic. It is so nice we are going back today😃

You are allowed to take dogs as long as they are  on leads which is great.
