A truly imposing and memorable  visit. Sited at the top of a hill with great views and next to the botanic gardens, the scale and sombre memorial  really needs a fair time to explore outside and inside. Staffed by volunteers who really know their stuff, a very moving experience. ‘We shall never forget’. Also a great cafe too to re nourish for further exploits. Do not miss this!

I made a quick stop here during my busy schedule in Melbourne. Unfortunately, I arrived just as they were closing, so I didn’t get to explore the whole site. However, the parts I managed to see were awe-inspiring. The atmosphere of respect and remembrance is very powerful, and I can tell this place is worth dedicating more time to on a future visit.
