A very charming and cozy hotel. The suite is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is excellent, although not cheap. The pool is suitable for swimming only, not for splashing around.

The location might have been perfect once, but today it is surrounded by an overgrown city. Nevertheless, it's quiet, and you can still see the castle from the balcony.

Our group of five had a disappointing experience during the final breakfast at Hotel Brandstätter. The waitress serving us responded rudely when asked for more pâté and showed clear annoyance when we tried to order eggs. She pretended not to understand our requests and later served us cappuccinos that were just milk with no coffee. She never apologized or explained her behavior.
Unable to resolve the issue with her, we reported the incident to management. Later, we overheard the former owner making disrespectful remarks about us in the courtyard, where everyone could easily hear her. This was the most rude and unprofessional encounter I have ever experienced. It’s a shame because the rest of our stay was not that bad. However, this interaction during our final breakfast was disappointing and unacceptable.

A warm hotel with rustic decoration and traditional outfits, appreciable!
The restaurant is a really nice place with a very good cuisine and service.
Staff is really friendly and professional, the service at the restaurant and the reception is perfect!!!
Only felt a little pression in their work like if they have to be always more than perfect, which they were! Maybe the management is a bit stressful. Maybe I'm wrong and then sorry for that.
But they were just perfect, professional and really nice!!
Location is the only real bad point, because it is just close to the highway, but it is well connected by the bus lines.
The pool espace is gorgeous and peaceful!
All the staff is nice in every service!

A pleasant stay in a lovely hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff, everything was just perfect.
The only negative point is that there is no restaurant at weekends.
However, I was recommended a restaurant 2 minutes' walk away, which was very good.

I loved staying here. Close to Salzburg with easy bus access, but located in a calm, quiet setting. The hotel is both historic and meticulously clean. The staff were so kind and helpful.
