A very charming and cozy hotel. The suite is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is excellent, although not cheap. The pool is suitable for swimming only, not for splashing around.

The location might have been perfect once, but today it is surrounded by an overgrown city. Nevertheless, it's quiet, and you can still see the castle from the balcony.

Our group of five had a disappointing experience during the final breakfast at Hotel Brandstätter. The waitress serving us responded rudely when asked for more pâté and showed clear annoyance when we tried to order eggs. She pretended not to understand our requests and later served us cappuccinos that were just milk with no coffee. She never apologized or explained her behavior.
Unable to resolve the issue with her, we reported the incident to management. Later, we overheard the former owner making disrespectful remarks about us in the courtyard, where everyone could easily hear her. This was the most rude and unprofessional encounter I have ever experienced. It’s a shame because the rest of our stay was not that bad. However, this interaction during our final breakfast was disappointing and unacceptable.

Only felt a little pression in their work like if they have to be always more than perfect, which they were! Maybe the management is a bit stressful. Maybe I'm wrong and then sorry for that.
But they were just perfect, professional and really nice!!
Location is the only real bad point, because it is just close to the highway, but it is well connected by the bus lines.
The pool espace is gorgeous and peaceful!
All the staff is nice in every service!

A pleasant stay in a lovely hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff, everything was just perfect.
The only negative point is that there is no restaurant at weekends.
However, I was recommended a restaurant 2 minutes' walk away, which was very good.

I loved staying here. Close to Salzburg with easy bus access, but located in a calm, quiet setting. The hotel is both historic and meticulously clean. The staff were so kind and helpful. Vi kom hit strax efter 14.00 för lunch men köket var redan stängt. Vi hade en apfelstrudel och andra strudel istället som båda var under förväntningarna, trots en vänlig service

Det är en vacker liten anläggning som säger äkta Europa överallt. Tyvärr var det bara en natt, så vi fick inte prova poolen. Personalen är ganska vänlig, frukosten i trädgården var mycket trevligt. Rummen kändes dock föråldrade. Men resten av anläggningen var rustik vilket är bra. Det har en Michelin - stjärnigt hotell, men tyvärr hade vi inte haft tid att prova det. Det är precis utanför Salzburg egentliga och parkering är gratis.

Fantastiskt litet ställe utanför Salzburg där vi ätit lunch innan vi kom hem. Traditionell österrikisk mat och några moderna rätter i en vacker matsal med riktigt varm service. Rekommenderas starkt.

Gasthof Brandstatter ligger precis vid Salzburgs ringväg. Vi hade ett stort rum med ett utmärkt duschrum. Det finns hissar på alla våningar. Gratis parkering på plats. Gratis trådlöst nätverk. Vi stannade under en mycket varm period. Det fanns ingen luftkonditionering, men en mycket effektiv fläkt tillhandahölls. Personalen är utmärkt, och alla är klädda i traditionell österrikisk klänning, och de talar alla engelska. Maten i restaurangen var utmärkt och vi åt på hotellet varje natt. Underbara offentliga rum för att sitta i även om vi satt i trädgården för det mesta. Det var väldigt lätt att komma in i Salzburg med busshållplatser precis utanför hotellet. Hotellet erbjuder också bussbiljetten till en mycket rimlig kostnad. Mycket billigare än parkeringsavgiften i Salzburg. Vi älskade det. . . . .

Vilken trevlig överraskning som kommer till detta härliga hotell efter 15 timmars resa. Personalen var oerhört välkomnande och snäll. Efter incheckning visades jag runt hotellet och inomhuspoolen andades bort. Omedelbart bytte jag mig in i min baddräkt och simmade i 40 minuter. Restaurangen är nominell Michelin och har ett härligt utomhusområde för att njuta av det vackra sommarvädret. Rummen är rena, snyggt och traditionellt. Jag har grundligt haft min vistelse och kommer säkert tillbaka när jag är i Salzburg igen.

Maten var bra värde enligt min mening. Det var inte den bästa maten jag har haft i Saltzburg men personalen var mycket vänlig och hålla. Restaurangen var mysig, mat klok jag skulle inte göra resan igen men det är definitivt värt ett besök om din i Saltzburg för några dagar.

Jag är så glad att jag har sett och upplevt denna plats! Det är så typiskt österrikiskt kök och stil, du känner verkligen hela atmosfären i hela landet. Maten var utsökt, tjänsten utmärkt och de har också välutrustade konferensrum i fall du är ett möte. Jag rekommenderar higly!

Vi hade en fantastisk middag på restaurangen Brandstaetter. Den serverar traditionell österrikisk mat gjort mycket väl. I synnerhet Marillenknoedel var fantastiska. Helt enkelt utsökt!

Resten är ett lite moderna österrikiska ... mycket bra mat, bra service. Vi hade bara lite tid så det var snabb lunch ... rekommenderas.

Mycket trevligt ställe strax utanför staden. Ägaren och personalen mycket vänlig. De föreslår det österrikiska matlagning mycket bra, alla verkligen på topp. Utmärkt vinkällare mycket utrustade. Jag kommer väl kom tillbaka.

Inredningen och dekorationer inte bra, men maten är mycket god och tillagas med omsorg. Den vilträtter var inte av denna värld, så var det kräftsallad. Även om välsmakande, fann jag min stekt fänkål på oljiga sida. På samma sätt stekt abborre oxfilé hade samma problem. Den tillhörande mos potatis var himmelskt och så var det mousse au chocolat. Jag skulle rekommendera dig att hålla sig till den österrikiska specialiteter och du kommer inte att ångra ditt val.
