Restaurant opened on a Saturday (closed usually) to accommodate our big gathering of family and friends! Food is fantastic, service team is extremely patient and accommodating, second to none! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Hotel & Restaurant Brandstätter exceeded my expectations. The flavors were perfectly balanced. The veal goulash and the corn sole were delicious. The ambience is amazing and the service is impeccable. I also stayed in the beautiful hotel. It is meticulously maintained and lovingly cared for. The grounds are lush and you feel as though you’re in someone’s home outside the busy city of Salzburg. Visit this hidden gem and you won’t be disappointed.

The outdoor seating area is lovely, the staff was nice and the food was of very good quality. I want to point out here that I am not a great fan of the local food in general, so it was really a pleasant experience, but not exactly my favourite type of food. Still, I believe the place deserves a top rating.
We were 2 people and we ordered soup, goulash, venison, and 2 plum dumplings, plus a couple of drinks each, for a total of 130 euro - which I believe is quite reasonable for what we got. Also, we had no problem getting along using English and we paid by card.

Our group of five had a disappointing experience during the final breakfast at Hotel Brandstätter. The waitress serving us responded rudely when asked for more pâté and showed clear annoyance when we tried to order eggs. She pretended not to understand our requests and later served us cappuccinos that were just milk with no coffee. She never apologized or explained her behavior.
Unable to resolve the issue with her, we reported the incident to management. Later, we overheard the former owner making disrespectful remarks about us in the courtyard, where everyone could easily hear her. This was the most rude and unprofessional encounter I have ever experienced. It’s a shame because the rest of our stay was not that bad. However, this interaction during our final breakfast was disappointing and unacceptable.
