What a great experience dining at Brunnauer. Each dish was prepared in the most prestigious way, with the best seasonal ingredients and unique combinations. The team was very friendly and helpful. We also loved the large wine selection that they offered and how knowledgeable the sommeliers were. 10/10 experience and we’ll definitely come back soon

If you're ever in Salzburg, Brunnauer is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with an unmatched warmth that sets the tone for a memorable dining the. First and foremost, the service is impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, every detail handled with care and precision.

And the food… Truly extraordinary. Everything we tried was quite literally a highlight:  the Pike with the Creamed Cabbage and Ravoli, Lamb & Couscous, Filet of Beef with Truffle Potatoes, Venison with Red Cabbage, Goose Liver Pate, and their famous Pancake with berry dessert. (Apologies, the only one pictured was dessert — we gobbled each dish down before the phone had time to eat!)

What an amazing culinary experience. You are welcomed Sybille Brunnauer. The food is absolutely delicious and presented so beautifully. The tasting menu with the wine pairing fits so well. A must when you are looking for fine dining experience with excellent service. Best restaurant in Salzburg.

Very friendly and courteous waitress (short hair). The restaurant is very quiet and the vibe inside is quite nice.

The amount of food served in the main courses is quite big considering the type of restaurant it is (high-end).

They have several options: 2 different menus that they regularly change depending on the season to match the seasonal ingredients, but also serve à la carte.

The price we paid per person was about 115-120€ / pers. and we ended up VERY full.

The downside for us was how extremely salty some things were: vegetables on the side, meat sauce, to name a couple.

Desserts were not too sweet, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately, there’s no AC inside, but they do have a Dyson fan on, which helps a lot on hot days.

PS The entrance is located close to the terrace (on the left hand side of the building).

Amazing meal, just as good as a Michelin star restaurant without the fussiness or the price tag. Delicious food with excellent wine recommendations, lovely ambiance, and charming staff. The chef and his wife greeted every table personally. 10/10
