What a great experience dining at Brunnauer. Each dish was prepared in the most prestigious way, with the best seasonal ingredients and unique combinations. The team was very friendly and helpful. And the food… Truly extraordinary. Everything we tried was quite literally a highlight:  the Pike with the Creamed Cabbage and Ravoli, Lamb & Couscous, Filet of Beef with Truffle Potatoes, Venison with Red Cabbage, Goose Liver Pate, and their famous Pancake with berry dessert. (Apologies, the only one pictured was dessert — we gobbled each dish down before the phone had time to eat!)

Very friendly and courteous waitress (short hair). The restaurant is very quiet and the vibe inside is quite nice.

The amount of food served in the main courses is quite big considering the type of restaurant it is (high-end).

They have several options: 2 different menus that they regularly change depending on the season to match the seasonal ingredients, but also serve à la carte.

The price we paid per person was about 115-120€ / pers. and we ended up VERY full.

The downside for us was how extremely salty some things were: vegetables on the side, meat sauce, to name a couple.

Desserts were not too sweet, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately, there’s no AC inside, but they do have a Dyson fan on, which helps a lot on hot days.

Amazing meal, just as good as a Michelin star restaurant without the fussiness or the price tag. Delicious food with excellent wine recommendations, lovely ambiance, and charming staff. The chef and his wife greeted every table personally. 10/10

Min man och jag åt nyligen på Restaurant Brunnauer, och det var verkligen en minnesvärd upplevelse. Från det ögonblick vi gick in, var vi varmt välkomna — inte bara av servrarna, men också av kocken och hans fru. Servicen var enastående - uppmärksam och så vänlig. Varje rätt vi beställde var helt utsökt. Jag önskar bara att vi hade mer tid i Salzburg — jag skulle gärna ha återvänt för en annan måltid på Restaurant Brunnauer!

Detta var den andra (av 3 ) övre änden restauranger där vi har / kommer att äta under vår 21 dagars Europaresa. Den första var kvällen innan på Casino Restaurant och det var utmärkt! Restaurang Brunnauer var en annan nivå upp. Dyrt men du får vad du betalar för. Jag bodde i Tyskland i 3 år i det militära och hade ofta färskt viltkött. Mitt hjortkött denna kväll, kompletterat med några extremt goda Pate, var fantastiskt mör och perfekt. Min fru hade en ”Devine” pasta med volanger (alla du ville, ingen gräns). Våra två öknar var fantastisk! De har en 100 Euro straff för No Shows vilket var lite oroande, men när jag fick veta att de var stängda lör och sön för att tillåta sin personal tid med familjen, förstod jag varför! Verkligen unik och fantastisk upplevelse; rekommenderar starkt denna restaurang utan förbehåll.

En av de bästa måltiderna vi har haft på länge Vi hade en sådan fantastisk upplevelse på denna restaurang under vår resa till Salzburg! Ärligt talat åt vi på en 3-stjärnig restaurang nyligen, och även om det här stället inte har någon stjärna, föredrog jag faktiskt IT — överlägset. Maten var fantastisk. Våra favoriträtter var vegansk feta- och blåbärssallad (så fräsch och smakrik) , tomat- och kronärtskockssoppa (helt utsökt) , och persikosorbet (lätt, uppfriskande och det perfekta sättet att avsluta måltiden). Servicen var lika imponerande. Vår server, Emily, var underbar — uppmärksam utan att vara overbearing. Vid ett tillfälle var jag på väg att be om en sked för att dela min mans soppa, och hon gav mig en innan jag ens sa ett ord. Den sortens eftertänksamhet stack verkligen ut. Rekommenderar denna plats om du är i Salzburg. Vi skulle absolut komma tillbaka om vi någonsin är i stan igen!

Vi äter nästan uteslutande på high end restauranger och detta är en av de finaste. Servicen är oklanderlig och sommelieren hade en bra rekommendation för en flaska vin och ett glas att para ihop med vår huvudrätt. Inställningen är vacker. När det gäller maten varje maträtt var vackert presenterade och förberedda. Bratwurst med tryffel och kål var utsökt. Vi hade chatesubriand för 2 med broccoli och potatis med svart tryffel som var den bästa vi någonsin haft. Denna restaurang bör vara ett måste på alla resor till Salzburg.

Vi blev rekommenderade till denna restaurang av vårt hotell i Salzburg. Det var inget annat än fantastiskt. Inställningen och maten var underbar. Vi. hade en lyxig middag som gjordes till perfektion. Värmen och gästfriheten hos personalen var mycket uppskattad, tillsammans med ett härligt samtal med Sybille Brunnauer, som gick ut ur sitt sätt att erbjuda oss mat rekommendationer för vår resa till Wien. På menyn fanns några regionala och traditionella maträtter från Salzburgregionen. Den österrikiska pannkakan med stuvade plommon var välsmakande. Filébiffen av nötkött tillsammans med tryffelrisotto och broccoli, var utsökt.

Restaurang Brunnauer är en mycket speciell plats. Vi hade turen att äta där medan du reser genom Salzburg och det var en verkligt minnesvärd upplevelse. Maten var enastående, vinparningarna perfekta och servicen oklanderlig. Kockarnas expertis, kreativitet och kräsna uppmärksamhet på varje detalj lyste igenom på varje rätt. Sommelieren var lika skicklig och förhöjde upplevelsen avsevärt för oss med sina urval och genomtänkta beskrivningar av karaktären på varje vin vi provade. Personalen var vänlig, uppmärksam och kunnig och den övergripande atmosfären var varm och välkomnande. Detta är en oklanderlig fine dining-upplevelse av högsta kvalitet och jag berömmer hela teamet för att leverera en så trevlig kväll. Jag ser fram emot att återvända och kan inte rekommendera Brunnauer tillräckligt.

Vad mer finns det att säga om Brunnauer än att det är, utan att tveka tanken, en av de allra bästa restauranger vi har varit på i alla våra resor. Min fru och jag besökte Wien, Österrike för julmarknader i år och bestämde oss för att ta en dagsutflykt till Salzburg (där vi hade semestrar 2017 ) för att besöka Christkindlmarkt där. När vi gjorde dessa planer visste vi att vi ville äta igen på Brunnauer där vi hade det tydliga nöjet att äta på under vår 2017 semester innan vi tog ett kvällståg tillbaka till Wien. Även om det hade gått 7 år välkomnades vi tillbaka som familj och bjöds återigen på en kulinarisk tour de force av en fantastisk kock och hans kollegor. All personal är vänlig och uppmärksam och gör matupplevelsen så mycket trevligare. Om möjligheten dyker upp måste du planera att äta här eftersom det kommer att bli en upplevelse som ingen annan.

Jag tog min mamma och vi hade en god måltid: tjänsten var strålande, teamet var flexibel catering till vissa dietkrav som mamma hade, och jag anförde dem att ge mig ett glas vin för att följa min start (duva) och huvud (kalvkött) : inte bara passade de perfekt till maten, utan båda var mycket prisvärda. 170 € för 2 personer, 5 kurser totalt, 2 aperitiffer, 3 glas vin, kaffe, tips. Nästa gång jag är i Salzburg kommer jag tillbaka!

Detta måste vara den finaste matupplevelsen i Salzburg! På tre tidigare besök i staden har jag inte kunnat äta här av en eller annan anledning. Den här gången slog jag guld och åtnjöt god mat och generös gästfrihet från båda ägarna. Boka i förväg när lokalbefolkningen återvänder hit igen och igen - även på måndagar!

Maten var helt utsökt! 5 stjärnor! Också för den vänliga tjänsten som rekommenderade oss vad vi slutade beställa. Jag kom till Brunnauer på grund av en rekommendation från en vän men jag skulle gå igen och jag skulle rekommendera denna restaurang för säker

Kanske är rangordningen orättvist eftersom våra förväntningar var så höga, men vi hade hört mycket om Brunnauer och var väldigt mycket glada att äta här. Medan det fortfarande var väldigt roligt, upplevde upplevelsen inte vad vi hade hoppats på. Alla satt sittande utanför, vilket var ganska trevligt. Men jag mötte mig direkt i solen under den första timmen, så det gjorde det svårt att se fram emot och konversera. Också, vår huvudsakliga server talade inte bra engelska. Jag förstår helt klart att vi inte är i ett engelsktalande land, men alla andra tjänster och servitörer vi stött på pratade perfekt engelska, så det var överraskande. Det gjorde det utmanande att beställa vad vi ville ha önskat och göra några ändringar. Ett par fel saker kom ut och det var uppenbarligen viss förvirring med orderna. Också verkade vänta personalen i allmänhet mycket opersonlig. Det var väldigt få trevliga saker, annat än när vi ursprungligen gick in. Kanske var det bara jag, men de tycktes inte tycka om sig själva den natten. Detta är inte min enda ta bort men som maten var fantastisk. Allt vi beställde (och så småningom fick) var utsökt. Miljön utanför var mycket trevlig, och övergripande vi haft måltiden.
