Best cocktails in town! Our waiter Elias suggested a whiskey based cocktail after asking my favorite fruits and spices, the outcome was more than amazing!!! Highly recommended

We had a fabulous stay here for two nights in July. You cannot beat the views from the hotel and the staff was lovely. The daily breakfast was delicious.

The gym offered stunning views and the adult only pool/ spa area was a wonderful retreat that allowed you to appreciate the views. The beds are comfortable and the room was thoughtfully designed. We were really pleased with the price we paid for what we got - great value. Thanks for having us!

We stayed for a week and it was fantastic! First time in Austria in summer and the Hochkönigin Hotel was absolute amazing for adults and kids. Our 3 years old couldn’t get enough of the kids play areas. Food is excellent, we stayed in the Star Suite and the room was very stylish and comfortable. Lifts are nearby. Overall the atmosphere is very relaxing and the Hörl family makes you feel very welcome! We hope to return again!

I stayed at this hotel for a week in the sweltering heat of August, and the experience was far from pleasant. The staff were incredibly unhelpful and unfriendly. My room had no air conditioning, and after two days of complaints, they provided a portable unit that barely made a difference in the room’s temperature. The TV didn’t have any internet or streaming apps, not even Netflix. When I inquired about this, the staff informed me that they had disabled the internet on the TVs because a previous guest played inappropriate content in the lobby. It felt more like being in a school than in a hotel.

The hotel is located in a rural area where everything closes by 7 PM, and there was no entertainment available in the room except for channels in the local language. To make matters worse, one morning while I was having breakfast, I was shocked to find three staff members leaving my room despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign. They claimed they needed to water the plants on the orders of the manager. However, it was strange that they didn’t have any equipment for watering the plants when they left the room. When I expressed my displeasure, the staff member didn’t apologize and rudely told me it was hotel policy and that I should talk to the manager if I had an issue.

Overall, this was a terrible experience. I was on a month-long trip and stayed in several hotels before this one, all of which were far superior in every way. I will not be staying here again.

We just spent 4 nights in full board pension with my wife and our 2 children, aged 8 and 12. This was our second stay. We had this time a star suite, a little bigger than the premium suite we had last time. We would still recommend the premium suite where the kids have their own space.
This time again our stay was fabulous: Most of the hotel was renovated recently and is beautiful. The spa is amazing and the kids' playroom kept them busy. The food was just delicious. Overall it was for us the perfect treat for a long weekend. We will definitely come back
