Fabuleux. David Martin et sa cuisine subliment un endroit magnifique dans ses moindres détails. Saveurs, couleurs, découvertes… On est transporté dans une autre époque. Une équipe aux petits soins. L endroit porte bien son nom, le client est traite tel un roi. Ca sent le trio d étoiles. Bruxelles revit enfin…. Grandiose!

Fabulous. David Martin and his cuisine enhance a magnificent place down to the smallest detail. Flavors, colors, discoveries... We are transported to another era. A caring team. The place lives up to its name, the customer is treated like a king. It smells like a trio of stars. Brussels is finally coming back to life…. Magnificent!

Le cadre est somptueux, c'est une évidence. Et l'on s'attend à une cuisine à la hauteur, qui heureusement ne fait pas défaut. Après un cromesquis de homard un peu fade comme mise en bouche, la suite fut un plaisir. Le rouget est une vraie tuerie !

La qualité de la table n'est hélas pas aidée par un service défaillant et de multiples petites erreurs qui, au moment de payer, laissent de la frustration et un goût désagréable en bouche.

Le personnel en salle est nombreux, souriant et charmant mais quand on passe plus de temps à appeler/ attendre un serveur et/ou un sommelier qu'à discuter entre amis, on sait qu'il y a un souci.

Pas de pain servi à table, il a fallu le demander. Plusieurs fois. Ne quitter pas votre table, vous risquez de ne pas en avoir à votre retour.

Le vin aussi fut défaillant car absent à divers moments du repas.
Idem pour l'eau.

Et quand les fromages sont annoncés de façon hasardeuse et servis dans n'importe quel ordre sur l'assiette, on sait qu'il y a encore beaucoup de travail à faire en salle.

Enfin, si vous êtes allergique, méfiez-vous de ce qui est servi. Des mignardises à la pomme ont été servies à un convive fortement allergique, ce qui a pourtant été annoncé à la réservation et au début du repas.

Espérons que la prochaine sera la bonne.
