We found it! We have something to celebrate with our immediate family in a few months and visited some better & nice restaurants (with sleeping facilities) during our holiday to make a selection afterwards. After our lunch we were convinced! Beautiful summer terrace with perfect informal service, delicious food and wine suggestion. With the closing coffee a trolley with desserts came to choose from. If you want my wife's attention, you have it. (We will only discover the rooms in a few months)

From a culinary point is view.. a great experience!! Creative, surprising dishes. Exactly the kind of food, fine dining is al about.
In this price range though, I feel the experience has to be more complete. Service, food, ambiance.. everything has to be next level!
For me, service was ok, but missed the x-factor that makes you feel comfortable and special at the same time.
Another improvement point is the seating and acoustics. Tables are placed too closely and the room is too noisy. This makes it sometimes difficult to have a conversation and also difficult to follow explanations about food and wine..

Mmm mixed feelings. We come here every summer and the quality tends to go down. Food is great, which might be expected for this price level. It is the service that is degrading. The staff is too present. Long waiting times between the dishes (main course after two hours and fifteen minutes. Both owners and server spent a lot of time talking to the guest at the table next to ours, standing too close to us and in the mean time not taking attention to other guests.  The overall sound level is disturbing and no one is waiting for covers of rock songs in this type of restaurant. It is not the relaxing premium experience you might expect, so I woud rate an overal 3 out of 5.
