Topervaring, uniek concept met zitplaatsen aan de toog, toogtafels voor telkens 4 personen en een zaaltje apart voor een groter gezelschap.
Vanaf de zitplaatsen aan het tooggedeelte heb je rechtstreeks contact met de Chef en  collega’s en zie je de magic voor je ogen gebeuren. Het aanbod op de kaart is ruim voldoende zonder overdadig te zijn. Wij hebben gekozen voor het 4-gangen menu, elke gang was uitmuntend en de hoeveelheid was a point, het enige verbeterpunt voor ons is dat de café macchiato iets warmer mocht zijn.  Dit is voor ons een blijver,  we hebben dan ook al  meteen het volgend bezoek in onze agenda gepland. Tijdig reserveren is een must.

From the seats at the bar area you have direct contact with the Chef and colleagues and you see the magic happening before your eyes. The selection on the menu is more than sufficient without being excessive. We opted for the 4-course menu, every course was excellent and the quantity was a point, the only point for improvement for us is that the café macchiato could be a little warmer.  This is a keeper for us, so we have already planned the next visit in our agenda. Reservations in time are a must.

Mooie zaak maar ... de ontvangst en bediening waren voor onze groep ondermaats. Het eten was top, dat moet gezegd, met lekkere producten en mooie gerechten. Zeer uitgebreide wijnkaart. We hebben lekker gegeten maar de bediening was niet op hetzelfde niveau. Misschien is het vergeten maar we hebben geen amuses gekregen bij onze aperitief. Tijdens het eten kregen we voor de eenzelfde wijn verschillende glazen, grote en kleine, door elkaar. Spijtig voor wijntjes die toch richting 100 Euro per fles gaan! En daarna kwam er zelfs niemand meer langs onze tafel. Na lang wachten zelf dan maar gaan vragen of we nog een digestiefje mochten bestellen. Het antwoord was 'als het snel kan want binnen 15 minuten gaat het licht hier uit'. Na de rekening te hebben betaald werd nog wel een bedankje geroepen, maar niemand om ons buiten te laten. We hebben onze jassen dan maar zelf genomen en zijn naar buiten gestapt. Spijtig!

Nice place, but ... the reception and service were substandard for our group. The food was great, it must be said, with tasty products and beautiful dishes. Very extensive wine list. We had a nice meal but the service was not at the same level. Perhaps it has been forgotten, but we did not receive any appetizers with our aperitif. During dinner we were given different glasses, large and small, mixed up for the same wine. Too bad for wines that go towards 100 Euro per bottle! And after that, no one even came by our table. After a long wait we asked if we could order another digestif. The answer was 'if we can do it quickly because the lights will go out here within 15 minutes'. After paying the bill, a thank you was shouted, but no one would let us out. So we took our coats ourselves and stepped outside. Regrettably!

Wij zijn een koppel die niet veel vooruit plannen. Om hier te kunnen eten dien je dat wel te doen. Reeds enkele keren trachtten we hier tevergeefs te komen eten. Door dan toch een keertje een 2 weken op voorhand te reserveren zijn we hier geraakt. Kort geschetst bevestigt onze ervaring met dit restaurant het feit dat je hier haast niet last minute kan reserveren : het was namelijk TOP ! Terroir is een restaurant met beperkt aantal couverts en een wat atypisch concept. Je zit namelijk aan een toog op krukjes vlak aan de open keuken. Je kan dus letterlijk alles zien en horen. Geen evidentie, maar alles verloopt erg sereen. De hele avond kunnen we genieten van de keukenvaardigheden van de chef en het personeel. Maar nu het belangrijkste : het eten ! Van bij de hapjes tot aan het dessert. Er kan niets opgemerkt worden. We namen de foie als voorgerecht. Deze was overheerlijk en een perfecte combinatie met de zeer kwalitatieve beuling. Daarna deelden we een Black Agnus als hoofdgerecht. Er werd niet naar een bakwijze gevraagd, want zo was hij gewoon perfect. We sloten af met een te delen dame blanche. Dit kan echt niet veel beter ! Bedankt en duidelijk dus tot snel !

We are a couple who don't plan much ahead. You have to do that to be able to eat here. We have tried to eat here several times to no avail. We got here by making a reservation 2 weeks in advance. Briefly outlined, our experience with this restaurant confirms the fact that you can hardly make a last minute reservation here: it was TOP! Terroir is a restaurant with a limited number of covers and a somewhat atypical concept. You sit at a bar on stools close to the open kitchen. So you can literally see and hear everything. No evidence, but everything runs very serenely. We can enjoy the kitchen skills of the chef and staff all evening long. But now the most important thing: the food! From the snacks to the dessert. Nothing can be noticed. We had the foie as a starter. This was delicious and a perfect combination with the very high-quality meatloaf. Then we shared a Black Agnus as a main course. No one asked for a baking method, because it was just perfect that way. We finished with a Dame Blanche to share. This really couldn't get much better! Thank you and see you soon!
