Would always come back - sat at the counter and the ambiance there was exceptional. Huge attention to detail, the chef explained hs our (vegetarian) course in person and everything was incredibly creative, modern and tasty.

I have eaten at another gastronomic place in Leuven, and HOP is miles ahead in almost every aspect - food, service, wine.

Price-quality is perfect as well.

The experience was thoroughly disappointing. The service was extremely slow, and dinner took 4 hours! We didn't expect it to take so long. Our table outside was dirty. Regarding the food, we had 3 apperitives, 3 starters, one main course, and dessert, but the dishes didn't complement each other at all. This place is definitely not worth a visit. We only enjoyed the bread and ice cream.

If you are lucky to be one of the 13 table tops you’re in for a treat!  Delightfully tasty set menu of fresh ingredients meaningfully prepared.  The ambiance is almost like a private kitchen, and the food is certainly prepared that way.  Great for an intimate dinner with friends or date night!  Wonderful staff.  Highly recommend!

It has been really long time since I have had such a good diner. This is a total experience: the location, the place itself, the music, the food, the drinks…
Take some time to enjoy this as the total experience took around 2,5 - 3 hours, but oh my god, was it worth it. From the appetiser, blue cheese with radish, to the bites, cauliflower on the bbq, tartare, the fish. To the main dish, bbq duck, to the dessert. The accompanying drinks compliment the dishes very well.
