Amazing food, even better service!! Marco was so friendly and a lovely server; thank you Marco! I’ve been searching everywhere for a meat risotto (have only been able to find seafood risottos on every menu and I am not a seafood eater) and here at Mediterraneo I finally found one! The veal risotto was FANTASTIC. I consider myself a somewhat picky eater and had absolutely no issue here.

Great place for a nice lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is really good. Located on one of the more intimate squares of Split. Service was personal and attentive. Very dog friendly! We had a delicious black risotto with octopus. The Krk white wine combined very well with our main course. The first photo shows the view from the terrace towards one of the outside walls of the former Palace. The remaining photos are of the city. Split is definitely worth a visit. Amazing history that can be felt vibrantly in all the different (narrow) streets, buildings, and squares!

We arrived to the restaurant for lunch and really wanted to try the salads. Decided to order Greek salad and Octopus salad, and all of us were really happy with what we got. The octopus salad was super tasty and filled with octopus, and the feta in greek salad was heavenly. Would definitely recommend. The service was great and the waitor immediately introduced himself as the owner of the place and welcomed us, which was so polite. We asked for some bread with the salad and got it in the end free of charge. Also, we were served with a surprise cake in the end of the lunch, for free again! This was the first restaurant during our visit in Split and felt immediately warmly welcomed to the city❤️ Thank you again!

Overall the experience was very positive. Here some tips for improvement
They didn't have any tap water (they were fixing some pipes) however they should provide water for the costumers. We had to buy it.
Cheese: for what they charge per plate they should have freshly grated Parmesano. They only had the cheap grated one.
