Parasol is renowned for its authentic Mediterranean dishes, especially the slow-cooked oxtail pasta and the flavorful black pork main. The cozy setting inside the palace walls, combined with jazzy vocals and regional wines, creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings. The homemade tagliatelle paired with regional wines or cocktails offers a taste of local tradition with a modern twist.

A cozy, friendly, family style cafe tucked away from the city center. Cool vibes, chill atmosphere, and excellent healthy options. Full of creative food combinations and fresh flavors. I think the menu changes regularly. We enjoyed the seasonal quiche with a salad, corn fritters with poached eggs and homemade mango dressing, and the basque cheesecake with coffees. Everything was delicious and a Welcome respite from the tourists….Hvala 🙏

This was my favourite restaurant in Split and I went there multiple times, both for breakfast/brunch and dinner. The food was amazing each time. My favourite breakfast was poached eggs with yoghurt, and my favourite dinner was flank steak, but other dishes were great too. Oxtail pasta is really nice, and so is the basque cheesecake. The waiters were super nice. I asked for mocktails a lot, and they mixed simple but refreshing drinks each time. The prices were more than adequate for the quality that I got! Especially compared to some of the more expensive and less good restaurants around. If I am in Split again, I would definitely return to this place!

Authentic Mediterranean food served in a unique, simple setting. Food is excellent - feels unique, well presented and exceptionally tasty. Worth reserving as quite small.

The narrow winding streets inside the palace walls lead to this cozy cafe.  The music was a mix of jazzy vocals served up with cocktails and regional wines.  The food was excellent and the service friendly.  We did not have a reservation on a Friday evening but it was not high season yet so I would recommend reservations on weekend nights.  The home-made tagliatelle with slow cooked oxtail and the smash burger were both delicious.

Good little local spot. Had the steak bruchetta to start the was good, but if you are only going to get one thing, order the black pork main that was superb! Very tasty indeed. Enjoy!
