Second time at Fiskebar and it was even better than I remembered. I love the venue, the service is really great as is the ambience. However it's the food that's the real standout. Real expert fish cookery, some modern flair and nice touches but nothing too out there. Can't recommend it enough!

Very good food, especially their raw starters were delicious with many fresh local seafood options. The atmosphere is lively and enjoyable for any age, both my father and I loved it. I would have also loved to have a couple of drinks on the terrace with my friends.

All in all, a nice place! Relaxed atmosphere. Turned up without a booking around 7:30pm on a Monday and was able to be seated no issues. Ordered a raw fish dish (forget which fish) which was great, fave of the night. Scallop was also delicious. Fish and chips were just okay, however I do come from a place where fish and chips are plentiful and amazing. Would have loved a fresh lemon slice to squeeze on my piece of fish. This whole area is a nice place to explore!

Fantastic food! Definitely start with the salt bread with seaweed infused butter - it was so fluffy and delicious. The fish and chips was made with smoked cod, giving it a great flavor and firm (yet moist) body. And the tenderloin filet came with a deep, rich broth of oxtail.
