I really enjoyed this museum! I saw it during the light and sound installation which I learned is not the typical type of installation, but I thought it was great! It is more niche- so look into what you’re getting into, but if your vibe is modern, unique, sensory art experiences, this might be right up your alley!

All in all, a disappointing experience. The place is pretty underwhelming: the total duration of the tour took me 15 minutes (which is definitely not justified by the price, being the ticket as expensive as a normal museum where one would take hours to visit!). The background music is way too loud and the installation is not matching the vibe of the environment. Finally, but most important, the whole place is way too dark: you basically pay for a 15 minutes walk in the darkness with someone crying/screaming in the background. Do not use the photos as a reference as the sensor of the phone is able to capture much more light than the human eye. I would instead suggest a walk in the nearly park.

A disused underground reservoir is a really unusual place to find an art installation so I thought I’d pay it a visit. These are changed periodically and can include light shows and sculptures. When I visited, it featured “Start again - A lament” by Taryn Simon which is intended to explore how people mourn and deal with their grief. After going down the stairs you find yourself in almost complete darkness and you have to walk around on metal gratings suspended over the water with only a small light strip underneath to guide you. As you make your way you are surrounded by the wails and laments of the grief stricken and it was a bit disconcerting to say the least. One interpretation could be a parallel to a descent into the underworld and crossing over the River Styx.

It was definitely different from the norm and I’m glad I went

Saw the Taryn Simon exhibit, it was extremely beautiful and moving. The chants and songs echoed through the space, which was still visually stunning even though the lights were low

This place is more of a sound and feel installation. I didn't like it very much. It was dark there and I felt unpleasantly underground. But it is individual for everyone. It is worth going and checking yourself and your feelings
