This hostel has a different and very pleasant climate. It is a very organised, clean, functional and quiet place. It was great to be here. It has restaurants, market and bars very close. It is close to the central station and other public transport. In addition, you can discover the city on foot from here from the hostel.

Had a great stay at the hostel, staff was friendly and helpful, the place is very clean and organized, and the location couldn't be better! Many good restaurants/bars/cafes around the building. Highly recommended for women solo traveling :)

The rooms smelled awful, the beds were dirty, and the mattress had stains on it – absolutely disgusting.

I asked for a bed on the lower level due to a foot injury, and they placed me in the bed on top, making it impossible for me to climb to it.

When I finally reached the bed, I realized that there is dust coming out of the ceiling and the bed is dirty. No one picked up the phone and I could sleep in this disgusting conditions.

nothing boutique about this hostel! power wasn’t working next to my bed, fixed it the next day, welcome card didn’t say which beds we were assigned. literally no vibe in the hostel and nobody at reception to ask for recommendations and they didn’t reply to whatsapp questions for recommendations either. place is pretty clean and central but the street it’s on isn’t that nice and the windows were all covered up and we couldn’t open them but that was shared before, don’t stay now especially but i wouldn’t stay again it’s not worth it also the air vent above my bed (room 4 top bunk on right) is extremely dirty

The Yard Hostel is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it. The hostel is located in very close proximity to the central train station and the public airport bus. Furthermore, he beds are great and include privacy curtains, hooks to hang stuff up and outlets. The Yard also has a common kitchen and plenty of bathrooms, and showers.

However, they don’t have anyone on staff to address guests  bad behavior after business hours, nor do they have a monitored 24 hour emergency line. The only other con was for some reason the hostel wasn’t as social as others I have been to, but don’t fault hostel management for this.
