By far my favorite specialty coffee shop in Helsinki. Very cozy spot offering great coffee and other warm beverages, friendly service, and some interesting treats. If, like me, you come too late in the day for coffee, I recommend the hot chocolate (they use true dark chocolate, so it’s very flavorful but not overly sweet). I tried the cinnamon roll and found it too sweet even if the flavor was nice. Their breakfast options sound tasty, but I did not get to try them. Overall, it’s a lovely place and worth stopping by.

Cheesecake! Visited three times with my brother and had a combined five Basque cheesecakes with delicious espresso cream. Hot cocoa and coffees also nice, the atmosphere delightful - the kind of café one could spend endless hours in; alas, I don't live in Helsinki. With the soft jazzy music and the snow falling outside and the friendly, inconspicuous service, what's not to like?

Would definitely say this is my favorite coffee spot in Helsinki. Their lattes are made with quality and freshness which can’t be beat. They have some food options though we didn’t get to try this out. Would recommend you giving this a try if you’re looking for a good coffee spot.

[HELSINKI, FINLAND] Finally a new overseas series! Among the many cafes in the heart of Helsinki city centre, Andante really stood out to me with their good food, vibes and service 😍

The Iced Latte (5.70 euros) may not be a very strong roast, but the flavour was very smooth and with strong chocolate notes. Due to the large ice cube, it does not melt fast and the coffee stayed rather flavourful for some time.

Their Brownie with Coffee Cream (6.70 euros) was such a lovely dessert to share. The brownie itself was very rich and chocolatey. Top that with their coffee cream and you get a decadent mocha like flavour which was very satisfying!

Definitely a cafe to visit when you come to Helsinki!

Great location and a very nice laid back atmosphere for a coffee place. Interesting and unique decorations and furnitures around which adds to the entire atmosphere. Place was pretty packed but orders moved along promptly. We had the banana toast and some drinks which were pretty good. My flat white was well prepared and milk was steamed well. Hospitable and friendly service as well.
