Very tasty dishes and nice meat variety.
We tried mixed-meat dishes, and they were all perfectly roasted and delicious. The different sauces provided were equally impressive.
The proposed red wine was also combined perfectly with the meat tastes.
The aesthetics of the place are very beautiful.
The service could be more friendly and fast.
Gluten-free options are also provided.

I recently dined at Viking Restaurant Harald in Helsinki and had the pleasure of trying their steak, which was exceptional. The rustic Viking-themed decor instantly sets the atmosphere, immersing you in a world of medieval feasting. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. It came with a variety of unique Viking-inspired sides that complemented the dish well, adding an adventurous twist to the meal.

Service was slow — stood and were ignored for quite some time while waiting to be seated + while waiting to make payment, to which we had to find another staff cause she had completely forgotten about our request to settle the bill.

The Voimaolut Honey / Smoke simply tasted like a typical pale ale / lager, nothing unique. We had Hunter’s Willow Grouse which had a very dry grilled willow grouse breast and shot, but was saved by an excelled potato-cake. The red deer roast in Skald’s Red Deer was also dry and the mushroom salad was heavily overpowered by red onions.

Decor was immaculate and intricate, but the poor service and average food makes it somewhere I wouldn’t recommend.

Food and atmosphere was very nice.
But not many people there and took long time to get food and after i waited 40min and asked about it started to come out.
Shouldn’t take so long time between starter and main dish.

I tried my first ever deer meat here. Initially the name pulled me in, the indoor decoration was perfectly on spot. The staff were friendly and the food was okay. I particularly loved the bread that was served with the soup. We tried the mushroom soup and deer meat. I found the restaurant a little bit overpriced.
