I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered the Poulet de Bresse. I was given one tiny wing with no meat on it. The wing was under-cooked with traces of blood. I have never been to a restaurant and been served only a wing. What happened to the rest of the chicken? There was nothing to eat. As a desert, I ordered the Moelleux au chocolat (chocolate pudding). It did not taste of chocolate; it was completely bland - awful. There were no table cloths on the tables. I expect to have table cloths in a decent restaurant. The wine list was also rather limited - only 4-5 red wines and 4-5 white. I would not usually criticize, but this is supposed to be a Michelin restaurant so I expect a bit more. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean and the service was good.

This restaurant is close to the center of the town and about 1 km from the Royal Monastery.
It is not easy to park the car close to the restaurant (the street is quite tight), but I was with the motorbike, so parking was not an issue.
As soon as they opened the door people started to come in (a good sign, from my point of view).
The restaurant is super nice, it is not very big, but the seats are comfortable.
I took the menu "Menu Plaisirs des Sens", it was super good.
The quality of the food was very good and there was a lot of attention to the details of the dishes.
From the entree to the dessert everything was excellent.
I took a glass of red wine, suggested by the waitress and it was perfect for my meat.
The only weak point was the coffee ... I am Italian and I like stronger espresso.

The restroom is nice and clean, there is also a space for baby, in case you have to change him/her during your lunch.

I went there for a lunch on Sunday, if you go there for a dinner on Friday or Saturday I think a reservation is needed.

I strongly suggest you to go to this restaurant if you pass by Bourg-en Bresse

If you want a real french cuisine - go to this restaurant. We ve been there many times and it is always a good surpise, reservation reccomended as it is really small.
