he food is good, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the cleanliness of the tableware was disappointing. I noticed a lipstick mark on my glass from the previous customer. I tried to capture it in a photo, but it wasn't clear. Despite this, everything else was perfect. Deducting one star for the cleanliness issue. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered a set of course and the portion was quite big. Onion soup went well with bread; beef was cooked softly and so it was mashed potatoes. Last but not least, crème brûlée was tasty and not too sweet. Staff were friendly as well. Highly recommend booking a seat before heading to the restaurant and enjoying the good vibes! 🫶🏽

We came on the recommendations of locals here. This is a very quaint Lyonnais-officially authenticated bouchon, and by the looks of it, a very popular a local establishment. It was difficult to get a seat or book in advance, so I turned up to book for the next day.

When you finally get their attention, the service team is funny and personal, else they are always busy trying to meet demands of the hoards of diners who turn up at their restaurant.

We especially loved the atmosphere : it’s exuberant and convivial. We were seated at the basement “cellar”. You have to be patient when you eat here, you need to wait to order your food, wait for them to be served, but we took it in good spirit as it is part of soaking in the local way of eating. A good cultural immersion.
