Magnifique établissement situé à côté du château St Jean !
De passage à Montluçon nous avons réservé une table au bistrot St Jean. Tout d’abord nous avons pris un apéro au bar de l’hôtel super service du barman Anthony.
Puis dîner : délicieux dans un cadre superbe vue sur le parc du château et service irréprochable.
Puis vers 22h nous n’avons pas pu trouver de taxi et le barman Anthony nous a gentiment ramenés.
Un service de première classe ! Merci

Magnificent establishment located next to Château St Jean!
While passing through Montluçon we reserved a table at the St Jean bistro. First of all we had an aperitif at the hotel bar, great service from the bartender Anthony.
Then dinner: delicious in a superb setting with a view of the castle park and impeccable service.
Then around 10 p.m. we couldn't find a taxi and the bartender Anthony kindly took us back.

Nous avons découvert cet endroit hier soir pour l’anniversaire de mon fils. Nous avons était très bien accueilli. Nous nous sommes régalés pendant tout le repas. Tout était délicieux. Nous y retournerons avec le plus grand bonheur. Un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel. Manger dans un gastro pour 50€ avec le choix entre 3 entrées et 3 plats plus fromages et desserts. Franchement c’est super. Et on ne ressort pas la faim au ventre. En plus le cadre est juste exceptionnel. Et n’hésitez pas ils sont à l’écoute des clients. Car même la petite bougie sur le dessert de mon fils était présente. Encore merci pour votre accueil et au plaisir de revenir.

We discovered this place last night for my son's birthday. We were very well received. We enjoyed ourselves throughout the meal. Everything was delicious. We will return there with the greatest happiness. Exceptional value for money. Eat in a gastro for €50 with the choice between 3 starters and 3 main courses plus cheese and desserts. Honestly it's great. And we don't come out hungry. Plus the setting is just exceptional. And don’t hesitate, they listen to customers. Because even the little candle on my son's dessert was there. Thank you again for your welcome and we look forward to coming back.

Un très beau lieu à découvrir ou à redécouvrir.
Accueil parfait et cuisine excellente.
Du début jusqu’à la fin, de l’apéritif au café, tout était parfait.
Les serveurs sont très sympathiques et très professionnels.
On nous a proposer le café en salle ou au bar sur les canapés, nous avons donc fini le repas dans une autre salle, ce qui fut très agréable.
Nous reviendrons et nous conseillerons ce lieu avec grand plaisir.
