Best hotel I have stayed at. We had a dog friendly family room with great views of the stunning beach 20m across the road. The room matched the beach as indeed does the hotel. Parking is a delight as is access and the feeling of relaxed comfort begins straight away. The quality of everything is very high which is matched by the food which is as good as I have experienced anywhere.

My stay was exceptional in every way and I am happy to have this opportunity to say why.  During my stay I suffered a small TIA stroke to my eye and Mme Le Torc'h and her wonderful team all went out of there way to help me access local medical help as well as emailing resulting reports back to my doctor in the UK to prepare for ongoing treatment.  They could not have done more if I had been one of there own.

Our room which had been booked on the ground floor was incidentally one of their disabled rooms so turned out to be perfect for my needs at this time.  The entire hotel which has been in the hands of the same family for over 60 years looked as if it had been recently redecorated and was well beyond the standard of it's 3 star rating.  Breakfasts served in their enormous dining room with views of the sea were elaborate and generously laid out for every taste.  Every member of staff at this establishment knows his job and carries it out to the highest standard.  Dinner in the gourmet restaurant was a treat not to be missed.  The location views alone deserves a 5 star rating.  Situated at the point of a narrow penninsula it is only a few steps from the front door to the sandy beach with breath taking views across to Concarneau.  There is a comfortably furnished terrace running the length of the frontage of the hotel and another one at the back overlooking the bayside  for drinks or lounging.

The atmosphere of this hotel is laid back in the nicest possible way while never forgetting that the comfort and pleasure of its guests always comes first.  All being well we hope to return again in a few months time to enjoy more of their wonderful hospitality which was unfortunately cut short on this occasion.

I want to stress that I have not given this exceptionally high rating because of my personal circumstances but because it was such a pleasure to find that this highly professional old fashioned type of service is still alive and thriving in modern day France and needs to be celebrated.

our family was very well received by the owner of this hotel and her family. every morning they asked our son whether he slept well.. and wished us a good day at the beach! very kind! we had a chance to get upgrade to family suite. the restaurant run by the sun of the owner is worth a try.. at least once (as prices bite). delicious risotto with truffles! you get to enjoy the sea view from bed! the beach tho has seaweed issue.. gushy and smelly soup of weed ) but the views are fantastic in cap coz. as there are only 4 restaurants in the walking reach, better book.

When looking for an accommodation in a secluded part of Brittany with very friendly staff, a great restaurant, strolling along the seashore just steps away and an awe inspiring scenically filled atmosphere, here you are at our hotel ..4 night and we are recharged for more of this wonderful section of France
