Nice, chic and still very sociable place for fine dining. A nice menu with a great mix of some more traditionally inspired and some modern dishes. All of them prepared very nicely and to the point. It was a very pleasant dinner experience and I was impressed by the wine list that offers a large selection of great French wines in many different price ranges.

There are those restaurants mentioned as one of the best in the area and praised in the reviews so you book there a table for your friend’s birthday thinking there can not be a better place to celebrate…but you fail. Given the prices I thought it would be a proper gastronomic experience but it was not, just a chic brasserie with pumped prices and haughty staff. Once I realise the experience was not there, I thought food would be of help at least and rise the level, but it did not. The flavours were absent or strangely put together, the portions were frustrating. I am glad there was bread but I am sure they didn’t even bother think why we ordered so many rounds of it. Also, another detail that I wouldn’t mind if I had spent a good time, I totally disliked the stuffy purplish decoration and tables layout. We were on a high table right in the middle of everyone. We didn’t even feel comfortable to properly talk to each other without feeling observed.

Incredible food, the dishes are amazing and very plentiful, ordered the veal with gnocchi and loved it. The décor is very nice and modern, very well blended with the architecture of an old French building near the gallo-romain ramparts, nice atmosphere as well. Rather pricy but we'll worth the expense if you can afford it, most prices are around the 20 € range. Excellent staff and service.

One of the best meals we have had for a long time. Fine wine, fantastic food- perfectly cooked lamb fillets, jus, truffles potatoes and assorted vegetables. Beautiful cheeses. An experience to remember on our last day in France before flying home to Australia. Back next year certainly.
