Restaurant review:  the food was beautifully presented, but the taste was mediocre. The entree (starter) was way too salty. The plat principale ( main) was not very flavorful. Overall, I was disappointed

The auberge is very nice room confortable we did not eat in the restaurant but it looked very nice and good with fresh food as only 2 main choices
Location is good but nothing to do on the evening around without taking the car

We’ve spent 4 night in this charming hotel. It was a wonderful stay!
The owners are very welcoming, always smiling and helpful. The restaurant is a true wonder and offers dishes which are visual artworks and are prepared with fresh and local ingredients. Sometimes even coming from the garden/pool (we had home-made smoked trout!) of the hotel. The bedrooms are small but comfortable and soundproof. Finally, the hotel is well located in the green Sologne region, next to some of the major Loire chateaus which an even be reached by bicycle. In short, un coup de cœur :-)

This was the perfect place to end our trip. The room was really comfortable, and the food in the evening outstanding. I would definitely go back.  It is not a cheap stay, but well worth the money.

Room is clean and full of light, the restaurant is amazing, local products often organic, wonderful, one of the best meat I ever had for breakfast. Thank you so much!
