We had an amazing dinner here. The food was very good and portions very generous.
Staff were very friendly and accomodating.There is a good selection of different dishes and we chose typical Alsace food and were not disappointed.
Although busy we did not feel rushed to finish our meals.

We had the most amazing lunch here. The food was delicious, generous servings and the staff were very friendly. There is a good selection of different dishes and the two we had were very nice. There is also a good range of wine options and an extensive carte. Both wines we choose were very nice. There are a lot of rooms and the place is deceptively large. We left feeling very content and recommend it highly.

This is my very first time of being so disappointed by a Michelin guide recommended restaurant.
We have ordered snails, pork knuckle, calf head and rooster.

The taste of snails was okay, but the presentation really surprised me.

Calf head and pork knuckle both had strong smells, especially the skin part. The chef could have pretreated the skin by flame or heat to remove that, then the overall taste would be way better.

Rooster was tough and plain.

Great place. All the dishes are typical for the region, but really well executed. The service was  really good. The whole place has a very traditional look.

It might just be us, but we didn’t really find the traditional Alsatian food any good. I gave the restaurant 3 stars, because the atmosphere was beautiful, the manager lady was incredibly nice, and the Apple strudel was delicious. The rest of the dishes we tried were simply basic :( You just expect more from the restaurant on the Micheline guide. You can still give it a try tho :)
