I expected more from the oldest patisserie in Paris. As there is always people in line waiting and the place is small, one doesn’t have time enough to place the order carefully.
Little time to choose and the staff was distant.
I picked a roll with nuts and chocolate. It was ok. I ate it on the street as there’s no place inside to sit. They don’t sell coffee but some juices in case you want to have something to drink.

I went there late afternoon and even though the pastry selection was limited I picked up a pain aux raisin which was beyond delicious. Crunchy exterior and soft, fluffy inside. The chocolates were also great (recommend the caramel). Lovely service, cheap and affordable and lovely area to walk around.

Perfect Insta spot! All of the baked goods would not have looked out of place in a food magazine. The flavours though were not as stimulating as the aesthetics. Don't get me wrong, the pastries taste perfectly fine but they don't thrill your taste buds as much as they exhilarate your eyes. Except the chocolate eclair, that was way too bitter!

The Croissants are amazing here!! I’m actually so picky about this. This shop is worth coming to for that alone, but their St. Honoré was a beautiful experience too. 🥳

Famous forever for a good reason because it is so delicious! And the ambiance? Just as beautiful and even the packaging/bag is so gorgeous that I don’t even want to throw away the bag!!! Everything is delicious!!!don’t skip this if you are in Paris!!!
