Ethiopia is celebrated for its flavorful and aromatic dishes, and Ethiopia in Paris is no exception. The restaurant offers a variety of traditional Ethiopian dishes that are both visually stunning and bursting with authentic flavors. Waiter spoke enough English to help us navigate the menu and order. It's different from Ethiopian food I've had in the US and Ethiopia but still equally flavorful. The waiter was making fresh juice when we arrived and the juice was so good. If you ask for the juice special I believe they will make it for you and it is well worth it. Try them out.

Food was delicious. Each dish was super flavorful--especially the chicken thighs and ground beef in the sampler menu. Beautiful, careful ambiance. Vibe was romantic, but not overly so--perfect for our intimate dinner party.

**Note for Glutards (Gluten free/sans gluten): While injera is traditionally gluten free, this one IS made with a teff/wheat flour blend, so it is NOT gluten-free/sans gluten. (Most Ethiopian restaurants serve wheat-blended injera, which helps the bread keep its structure.)

Had a craving for Ethiopian food so we decided to head over to Ethiopia! Many of our other choices were too far away or not open for whatever reason. 

5 stars bc it's a cute, good vibes restaurant. 
3.5-4 stars for the food
5 stars for the "bread" when it's served warm! 

I had a good dining experience here. Staff was so friendly. We ate all of our food, but still on the search for my favorite Ethiopian spot in Paris :)

Exceptional food. Went for lunch and the woman working was one of the nicest people I have ever encountered in the food service industry. She was so welcoming and came over to chat with me after I finished the meal, bringing me a free traditional coffee. I will be back!

This is the best Ethiopian food I've had in Paris. I've been back several times, and it's not a fluke. 

Don't bother looking at the menu and just get the "menu" -- a huge assortment of dishes ranging from lentils to meats to the piece de resistance, chicken with eggs. It's all served family-style on injera bread. Yum... I think I need to go back again soon!

Gluten-free notes: Injera is made out of teff, which is a gluten-free grain. You will want to confirm that they did not add any wheat flour to it. Then chow down.

This is a nice family run Ethiopian restaurant.  The food is legit and authentic.  The injera is freshly made and not overly sour (it's just right).

Like most Ethiopian restaurants, you typically share your meal (they will give you a big plate with food in the middle) and you eat with your hands.  We got the vegetarian platter + chicken and it was good.

I have had Ethoipian at a many other restaurants in the US and this was as good if not better than all of them.

It's truly one of the best Ethiopian restaurants I've ever been to. I'm from East Africa, and I'm quite familiar with the region's cuisine. I've been to many Ethiopian restaurants before, and I can say that Restaurant Ethiopia truly is worth going to. For four people, it's only 16 euros each. That being said, the portion size of the "menu" option was unbelievable. We left the restaurant happily stuffed and with leftovers on our large platter. In addition, the food itself is excellent. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Paris.

This was my first time eating Ethiopian food and it was excellent. I really enjoyed tasting the variety of savory dishes with my hands. My friend and I shared "Plat traditionnel ethiopien à partager" that consists of chicken in sauce, stewed beef, minced meat in sauce, and assorted vegetables. The crepe that is served with the food has dash of lemon and may taste bitter on its own, but complements the food quite nicely. I highly recommend Ethiopia for those who want to explore their culinary horizons.

Excellent food.  I've eaten Ethiopian in many countries around the world and this is as authentic as they come. Excellent service. Speak excellent English to. Explain everything on the menu too
