I have been to this restaurant 3 times. Starters and main dishes are good and well prepared. Neverthless, this restaurant is not the best place for desserts. I have been VERY disappointed twice. I really would not advise this place if you want to end your meal on a good note. The manager gave us a discount but luckily we still checked the bill as a bottle of rose had been overpriced and did not match the price on the menu (the bill showed close to 30€ more compared to what we should have been paying). Mixed feelings and I would not go back there…and again do not go there for desserts, obviously not the chef’s forte.

Comme Chez Maman is my favorite restaurant in Paris. The menu is creative and there are lots of delicious options. Love the wine suggestions. They always accommodate a child’s meal. Service great!

Good Food and Wine, but Some Room for Improvement

We recently dined at Comme Chez Maman, and while the experience was enjoyable overall, there were a few hiccups.

Our table wasn’t ready at the reserved time, which meant a half-hour wait. Once seated, the service from our waitress was lovely—friendly and attentive—but it seemed like some of the other staff were having an off day, which affected the overall atmosphere.

As for the food, the main dish was excellent and the highlight of the meal! The starter, couteaux, was just okay—nothing memorable—and the dessert, tarte tatin, while nice, didn’t stand out as anything extraordinary.

The wine selection, however, was a strong point. The wines by the glass were fantastic, though on the pricey side individually. Opting for a wine package might be a better value next time.

All in all, Comme Chez Maman delivered a good meal with some great moments, but there’s room to fine-tune the experience.

We've been to this restaurant twice and absolutely love it.  The food is terrific (don't miss the mushroom soup!) and the staff are professional and friendly.

Super nice experience. Location super cozy, staff very kind and always there to please you, fast service.
Excellent wine list. Food is just amazing, fish, meat, vegetarian, no matter which, interesting flavours combination.
