The flavors are consistently delicious and incredibly refined. The staff provides impeccable service, and the prices are surprisingly low, especially considering the quality of the food. We can't wait to return for another gastronomic experience.

Lao Siam is in a league of their own when it comes to Thai / Laotian cuisine. I have eaten quite extensively in Southeast Asia, and Lao Siam is super legit, although for my taste I would have liked much more hot and spicy in the dishes. In France though it is hard to find any restaurant that will serve spicy food to the French…they don’t want it. What I like most about Lao Siam is that they make really amazing yet simple dishes but they shine and are well balanced in flavor. To be honest, most Asian restaurants in Paris are serving premade things they bought from places like Tang Freres the Asian grocery store. Lao Siam is making everything themselves and you can really taste the difference. The pork ribs I highly recommend, and the beef salad was super refreshing and delicious. Everyone orders the mango and sticky rice for a reason, it’s crazy good. Red curry duck is also super tasty but this is one dish where I wanted more heat, it’s really good but some spice would have made it much better for me. Will return here for sure to try lots more dishes.

Very popular…but very overrated. Cold service, average food, bad lighting and decor. I used to go here, wanted to see if I was being too harsh…but now they are just coasting on their exaggerated reputation. I can give you 3 places within 5 minutes that are far superior and far more friendly. Got take out…and they just threw that dry pad tai in the box.

Food's not gonna blow your mind but it's comforting. Wine selection however is brilliant. Quite high prices overall. Around 60€ for 2 appetizers, 2 meals and 1 dessert. As mentioned in other comments, be prepared to wait in line at lunch time. Nice staff

From the looks of it, Lao Siam is a rare find. I am into Thai food and what got my attention as a passerby is the rice served in a hollowed-out pineapple with seafood and ground meat. They did look delicious. We tried Pad Thai which isn't bad and the rice in pineapple, taste of which overwhelmed my taste buds. It was a mixture of flakes, chorizo, shrimp and whatnot all greasy. The one that I enjoyed wasn't the meal but the peppercorn garnish.
It's always crowded so I'm going to give it another try and find the reason why people crowd the place.
